I get back home after a gang shoot out as I get inside and the kids run to me hugging me as my oldest came over

"We missed you daddy!"Elijah and Aaliyah said hugging me

"Hey pops"Gia said smiling as she hugged me

"Hey everyone where's mom at?"I asked smiling as I hugged them back

"Right here, go wash your hands dinner is ready"She said smiling

The kids ran upstairs to wash their hands as I went over to Edwin and kissed him and hugged him.

"So what happened tonight?"I said

"Another shoot out, but we all made it out Alright I was nipped in the shoulder but nothing serious"He said as I sighed

"You promise you'll be done with this soon?"I said

"I swear soon"He said as I kissed him again as the kids came back down as we sat down to eat

-Later on that night-

I was sleeping as my phone rang as Y/n shook me awake as I grabbed it answering it

"Aye Edwin man! Zius told the cops man, y'all gotta get out of there I'm on my way over now to get the kids!"He said as I woke up sitting up as Y/n sat up

"Alright alright! Hurry up!"I said as I got dressed and Y/n stood up

"What's wrong?"She said

"The cops are coming!"I said

"Shit!"She said and got up and went in the closet getting out bags and then she ran out the room

"Everyone get up put on your jackets and grab your bags uncle Zion is gonna be here soon!"I yelled to the kids as they got up and started getting ready

"This is about dad isn't it?"Gia asked as she put on her things

"Yeah"I said sadly

We heard the car horn outside as I get them downstairs

"Mommy aren't you coming?"Aaliyah said

"No just go daddy and I will be there soon go ahead"I said and kissed their head as they got in the car as I started hearing the sirens as they drove off and I ran in the house as Edwin through me a vest as I put it on and he threw me a gun

"We just gotta get them off of us until the rest of the gang gets here and then we get to the jet and then we are off"He said

"Alright"I said and kissed him as we put the couch in front of the window and then we barricade the front door and the back

The sirens are all around in front of the house as I breathe and nod looking at Edwin as we started shooting
