I sit on the bed with Brandon and I's 5 year old Valentine as we watch cartoons before she has to go to bed, as we watch spongebob we hear the door open and we hear someone falling into something

"Ugh Damn table!"we hear Brandon yell

"Valentine go ahead and hideout in the closet until I come back to get you"I said

She got up and quickly hid in her closet inside her clothes basket and I closed her closet doors as I Went downstairs and I seen Brandon

"Hey Brandon are you alright?.."I said whispering slowly coming over

"Oh ugh it's just you, no I'm not fine Simon keeps saying my songs I've been working on for months are terrible"He said groaning and getting a beer from the fridge as I sighed and he turned around after taking a sip

"What was that?"He said setting down his beer

"I just sighed Brandon"I said

"For what?!"He said getting closer having me pinned against the wall

"I think you drink too much and you should s-"

I was saying as he punched a hole in the wall Next to me as he pulled his hand down

"Don't you dare fucking say it. You don't fucking understand just shut your damn mouth and stop talking!"He yelled pissed off

"But Br-"

He slapped me knocking me to the ground and started kicking me as I curled up. When Brandon gets drunk he gets Aggressive but he's never beaten me before

I hear steps coming down the stairs as I hear yelling

"GET OFF MOMMY!!!"Valentine yells

"You little!-"He yelled raising his hand as I used all my strength to get up and hit him with the bottle in the back of his head as he fell before he could touch her as he was knocked out

She started crying as I picked her up grabbing the keys as I looked back at Brandon before I limped out with Valentine in my arms and Got her in her seat as I got in and drove off as I drive to my big Sister Domo's and her fiancée Crissy's house
