Chapter Seven: Meeting Another Power User

Alex stare the impossible being right where eyes should be. She saw none. Then the creature opened its eyes and she saw they were ruby red. Just like hers. She dropped down to the ground . It felt like she just lost all power in her body. Like she was being forced to stand down.

"Alexandra Mundy, pleasure to meet you. Also sorry I just don't need to be burnt even more. My friends tried to burn me alive. In their defense though, they were drunk," said the mysterious person's raspy voice.

"Who are you and how do you know my name?"

"Why how rude I didn't even say my name. Well I am Branden Mack and how we know your name is because all power users have a sense of others. We are only hop..."

He got cut off because Alex burst into flames and started running at him. So they are stalkers now. She made a fist and went to wind up. She fell before she could throw it.

"Now can I release you and be safe or do I have to hold you there. After all I can hold this shield for a few hours at a time. Also I have the ability to guard and protect. Most of the guys had it. Bucky was different though. He had a lighting and metal mix. He could turn into a metal person if needed."

"Okay you can let me go. I won't do that again."

"Okay, but if you try I won't give you the choice."

"Okay, that's fair. It totally is. And Bucky had cool powers then."

"Yeah he did, but the power users think there is another like him. One with two powers. That has the symbol of life like you and me."

"Really who?"

"You won't believe me if I told you."

"Okay I found out the impossible is possilbe."

"Yeah true. Okay fine. We think it's you Alexandra."

"Okay that would be awesome. Fire and another power."

"Yeah."

As soon as he finished speaking they heard another crack then an explosion. They set off.
