Alex was sitting on the bus on her ride home and couldn't help but wonder why she kept getting strange looks. She looked around and noticed most people staring at her. She got suspicious but didn't say anything about it. Her bus ride was always about fifteen minutes and she was the last stop. There had already been five others. The bus had only about twenty people on it now. None of which got off with Alex.
Alex never had any friends as she didn't see the need for them. Her parents had sadly died last year in a car accident and she was left to live alone, under certain circumstances that are. Alex had dark brown hair and a really rare case of eye color of ruby red. This has happened to few people and all of those people seem to have something wrong with themselves.
By the time it was Alex's bus stop her mind had wandered away. She didn't like to let her mind wander but she couldn't really help it. Not now at least after what just happened.
Alex knew she had always been a strange child, but she didn't see why people were noticing her. When she got home she dumped her stuff on the floor by the door and looked around. Her house was quite spacious and very clean. The couch was fluffed, if you would even call it that. Dishes always kept clean and it was very bland in color just the way she liked it. Alex had known something strange was going to happen ever since her eyes turned the bright red that they are now. She had done research on it, but nothing good came up in the results. Mostly gene malfunction if that's what you could consider it.
Alex went upstairs to take a shower but as she was getting undressed to she noticed something on her arm. It was a marking. One that almost looked like a tattoo, but when she touched it, the marking disappeared. It is all in my head. That is all it is, she told herself. When she got out of the shower she went straight to the computer and search up the words 'strange marking tattoo like'.
