Alex watched in amazement as she rode in the car with her uncle and aunt. She couldn't help but smile. She had always loved visiting them. They lived in a huge three story house and had ten acres of land. they were going to her favorite place when she was little. Ice Land. It wasn't the country but it was an ice cream parlor. It had the best flavors. She had always wanted to try all of the flavors but only got through half the list before she stopped going there.

"What are you going to get this time, honey?"

"I don't know yet uncle."

"I guess that makes sense."

"Yup"

They all sat in silence for the rest of the trip. She had always wondered why they always took her here when she visited but she didn't mind. She watched the fields go by. All the houses and areas for farming. She loved being in the country for that reason. She could have miles to go and explore. When they had arrived at the ice cream parlor, Alex had ordered a triple Chocolate Double Dipped Vanilla delight. It was one of their best and the last one she ever had.On the drive back they stopped at a store to get something for the rest of the trip. That's when everything happened. A blast in the back of the store shook the entire store. Alex had just walked out. Her aunt and uncle still inside. The store then collapsed crushing everyone inside. Then she saw it. A flaming horse but not for long. She saw everything start to fade.

When she woke up she wasn't where she passed out. She was inside her house. Next to her was that boy.
