Alex couldn't wait for the bus like she used to. She was too excited expecially with this new power. She also wanted to know who the other power users were and why ruby red eyes as a signature for them. She had been wondering this for the longest time. Five hours to be exact.
She had hated school at first. She had never really gotten the point of it. Mainly since she was always made fun of. Her parents crash had changed her life badly but now she could change it. The bus got there and broke her from her thoughts. She got an alert on her phone. A reminder for her. She had a test that she hadn't studied for at all. That was not like her at all. I am going to fail that test, and I know it, she thought. Sometimes when she put herself done she did better.

Eight hours later

Alex had just got out of school and this time she didn't go straight home. She instead went to the woods by the school. She was going to learn how to use the power she had to help others. She would help others. She had no doubt about it.
She was about half way into the woods when she heard a noise. Much too quiet for normal ears to hear. She had unnaturally sharp ears. She turned around and saw something that looked impossible.
