Twenty years later.

Alex and Devon were running throughout the streets in Hong Kong in search of more power users. Alex could have wished for more hope in these moments. She and Devon where chasing another user. Alex could sense the power. It was strange and she couldn't explain it. Until she actually felt it. They hit Devon first. Alex was able to put up a fight. The power user's power was able to replicate there cells. Making an army. Alex summoned her flame mirage and was quickly defeated after that. She was drained and knocked to the ground.

She was sure she wasn't out for long. She was clearly hurt and being dragged. She felt a sharp pain in her left shoulder. She looked to her left. Her power very weak. Then she looked a little farther. Devon was immediately to her left. Just a little past Devon was her duplicate. She tried to have it go away, but every time her duplicate would stay there.
She couldn't even think straight. She tried to fight and found she couldn't even move. Maybe that's why I can't recall my flame mirage. Life was going great at the moment. Alex and Devon where slowing down. She noticed what was happening. She was then knocked out again.

She woke up the next morning noticing that it was now just her and Devon. No double. She looked around and saw the crowd of people. All with rage. She heard murmmers from people who wanted to kill her.

"Burn the Demons," random people shouted. Alex chuckled a little bit. She could not be harmed by fire. She had tried multiple times to burn herself as a child and had never realized why she was never harmed. Now of course she knew. She started to get mad. Then, she heard another voice.

"Today, we have captured two evil divines, and they shall be executed," a man roared to the people.

That set Alex over the top. She raged even when she heard Devon make a sound. She felt what was holding her down dissipate to ash. She looked at herself and saw why. She was flaming. She felt the rage take over her body. She started to throw fireballs. She felt the fire growing around her knowing that she was about to release an attack that would be devastating.
