Chapter 5: Training

Turning my head to the left to see it is 3:10am, I lay there looking up at the ceiling still thinking about the male's voice "It's done".

What did he mean?

I strip the blanket off walking to the door walking outside trying not make any noise.

Walking down the stairs slowly walking through the back hallway to the pool.

I walk past the kitchen leading me to the outside though the lights were still on I walk to the seats and lay down on the beach beds looking up at the beautiful brightly shining stars.

"Can't sleep either" someone pipes up making me jump up and get in to fighting position

"Chill it's okay sis it just me" Luke says with his hands up in surrender.

"Don't ever scare me like that again" I say relaxing a bit.

"Yeah sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he says walking over to the chair beside me I lay back down looking at the stars wondering if my family is watching me.

"Do you ever wonder if mum and dad are watching your every move?" Luke starts to speak looking at the moon brightly shining on us.

"Yes I do and I know they are because they are the ones guiding us to our way home" I say truthfully.

"Sis since when did Brandon start living with you guys?" Luke starts to speak up laying back and chilling.

"He started living with me and aunty when I was eight, I didn't like him I always gave him a cold shoulder and I always ignored him but nothing worked" I say softly.

"Why didn't I see him every time I came to get you then?" Luke says looking at me.

"He was out playing with friends or he was doing God knows what" I admit now staring at the two stars shining brightly at me.

"Why did you think we would leave you after everything? You know well enough that we are not like that and that we will always have you back don't matter what" Luke says looking at me for the first time since we got out here.

"Luke, it wasn't easy alright, I haven't seen and been with you guys long enough to tell you straight up plus I didn't want you to go to jail for murder" I admit looking at with a scowl o my face.

After he doesn't say anything and just look back at the starts and the moon.

After two full minutes I decided to ask Luke a question that has been bothering me for ages "Luke" I say breaking the silence.

"Yeah" he replies back not looking at me "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could've helped you with all the shit going on" I say.

"Natalie everyone knows your going to become successful and Alex and I knew bringing you right after everyone dies then you will leave the life that you can make happen for this screwed up life" Luke says with a sigh.

"Luke, we lost a bloody brother to this shit. We lost our family to them the least you guys could do was tell me" I say honestly.

"Exactly we lost our family and we can't leav"

"Hmmm" I hum in response my eye heavily closing.

"I want in" I say to the boys while we are having lunch "you want what in" Alex says looking at me weirdly.

"I want to step in and be the person that grandpa wanted me to b" "what?.... no do have any idea what you are asking to be apart of" Alex says looking at me.

"Yes I know but I don't care, you even said it I was the chosen one I don't want to have to keep on hiding I want to be me" I say looking at them sternly.
