Chapter 12: The Phone Call

"Axel" I sit up straight shocked the boys looking at me confused but I don't pay any attention.

"Mummy where are you?" Axel cries softly over the phone.

"Axel where's your father or an adult that is near you can you please give them the phone" I ask softly.

"Ok mummy" he replies it melts my heart to hear him still calls me mommy.

"Hello" a deep voice speaks up over the phone I knew exactly who it was because I was once in love with it and I am not pleased.

"River Pierce" I say taking a deep breath trying to calm the anger.

Screw it!

"WHAT THE FUCK? WHY DO YOU HAVE OUR FUCKING SON?" I yell at him over the phone.

The boys looking at me with murderous eyes standing up and walking over to me rolling my eyes putting the phone on speaker.

"Well hello to you too baby girl, yeah I am fine thanks how about you?" he says in a sarcastic tone.

"River it's almost midnight and I get a call from my son who is not with his adoptive parents but with his biological father" I state the facts the anger building up.

"Dammit why you always got to state the facts" he says and you can tell he has a smirk on his face because of his tone.

"River" I warn.

"We have been trying to look for you everywhere we tried everything and anything even tried looking for those two bastards-"River get cut off by Axel.

"Language dad" I hear my son say softly in the back River just chuckles a bit but then continue.

"You were nowhere to be found but I remember that Wello had your number so we went to her and it was the correct number. Two days ago some men murdered Rose and Sam according to Axel, but they didn't see him and he had your old ring you made for when he was in danger but you weren't picking up those calls either so he rang me and some how ended up at my house that night we went everywhere to find you" River finishes his sentence and takes another deep breath.

"We? Who's we? I yell in frustration and anger "Hey no estreses hermosa" I hear someone speak Spanish in the background.

"Ash" I ask surprised.

"Yup it's me how did you know?" Ash ask surprised.

"I didn't teach River how to speak Spanish only French and Italian plus there is no way that Axel can speak Spanish like that because his adoptive parents are Americano and know one in the pack but you knew I had Español in me" I state shrugging my shoulders as if he could see me.

"Damn beautiful you still smart I could never get tired of that" he says as Alex goes to grab my phone but I dodge it and stand up pacing in front of all of them.

"Where are you guys now?" I ask with my hands in my hair.

"We are at the private house we have been crashing here since Axel came to me" River says with a sigh.

"Fine okay I am on my way right now make sure my son eats something, and gets some rest but if I find a mark or a single scratch on him watch out River I'm gonna come for you" I warn already walking towards the door.

I hear chuckling in the backyard and it sounded like Axel's laugh "Mummy dad is frozen now" Axel says in the background he sounds so innocent.

"No no I am not scared of your mother Axel remember I am a werewolf and I don't get scared" River says trying to cover up the fact that I did scared him out a bit.
