"Okay! She's ready!" The lady spun the chair around to that Stan could see me.

"Oh my god! If Richie could see you right now he'd have a heart attack!" His eyes almost popped out of his head. "Kinda regretting friend zoning you right now!" He winked. "Kidding." We both laughed. The lady handed me a hand mirror.

"He's right though. You look beautiful sweetie!" She patted my shoulders.

My hair reached the crook in between my neck and shoulder and since I have naturally wavy hair it bounced up in half curls.

I stood up, hugging Stan. "Thanks Stan! Well I gotta go home now." I glanced at the clock. "It really was great seeing you again." I smiled as I hugged him again.

"Bye!" I waved, running out side.

Once I got home, Bill happened to be passing through the foyer. "Oh m-my gosh! You're hair!!" He said amazed.

"Yeah!" I laughed as he stuck his hands in my hair and fluffed it. "I love it!" He continued fluffing my hair.

"So, I ran into s-Stan today." I moved past him into the kitchen, getting an apple from the fruit bowl on the counter. "He went with me to get my hair cut. After I tried going I-into the arcade but decided not to. And before that, I went t-to apologize to Bev like I told you I w-would." I leaned against the counter as he opened the fridge, getting some of last night's cake.

"That's c-cool." He forked a piece of the cake into his mouth. "I miss the losers." He swallowed. "Give me that." I snatched the fork from his hand, forking up a piece of cake and shoving it into my own mouth. He laughed as I smiled with a mouthful of cake.

I gazed out the window that was sitting above the kitchen sink. Eddie would walk or bike to places, passing our house on the way. His mom probably banned him after Neibolt.

"It's be okay." Billy said softly, setting a comforting hand on my shoulder.

A couple days later

I walked to the temple, dressed Nicely in a long sleeve blue thigh length dress. My hair was done up in curls and my mom did my makeup a little. I didn't really know what else to wear.

Stan was standing by the big front doors, looking around nervously. "Brook!" He saw me. He ran down the steps towards me. "There you are." He grabbed my arm and led me inside in a hurry.

"I remembered that I also invited Richie and I remember how you said you were kind of avoiding him and I found out he is coming so just- sit right here." He sat me down in a certain area.

"O-okay." I watched as he smiled at me, then walked away.

As everyone was filing out, Stan rushed up to me again. "Hold on." He mumbled. He was standing in front of me, holding the sides of my face. We just stood there for a second. "Okay." He mumbled again. "Sorry, Richie was right there."

"Oh. Thanks."
