A week had gone by since the boys moved in with me, and to put it simply it had been anything but normal. I have gotten to know the boys so much better, Niall especially. We were trying really hard to make up for our lost time together. I still don’t think that we have gotten to know each other well enough. The boys had decided to come to my photo shoot on Tuesday; I don’t think they would be welcomed back if it weren’t for their international status.
The rest of the week had been spent out on the streets roaming around, watching movies and getting to know everyone better. It was busy to say the least. Louis wanted to be out and about doing something from the time he got up (which is really early) until he crashed late at night. I still had no idea how he was able to keep up the energy of a four year old at Disneyland. Not even Liam was aware of how he could do it. Twice he had managed to get us mobbed and we were forced to call Paul to come and rescue us. The lads had laughed it off; they were used to it by now but it was a new experience for me, one that I really didn’t want to happen a lot.
Today the boys had rehearsals and a concert so they will be busy all day. I had promised that I would go to the concert tonight as long as I wouldn’t have to go to the rehearsals for the rest of the day. This left me to myself in the house giving me some time to get some of my sketches for college done before they needed to be sent in to my professor.
The lads had left around an hour ago, their studio was a good drive away and Niall had ‘needed’ to get something to eat or he would die. The house was back to the quiet I had known before the boys had come into my life. I used this as my opportunity to take a hot bubble bath to start the creative flow.
The warm water was ready, the bubbles pouring over the side of the overflow tub. I sank into the water sighing in content as the warm water, I disappeared under the mountains of light pink bubbles. I let loose of everything, my mind clearing out as the relaxing steam hit my face.
My peace didn’t last long, the doorbell went off annoyingly echoing through the silent house. Groaning I pulled myself out of the comforting water and pulled on my dressing gown; it was a soft pink, fluffy and my comfort object on scary movie nights. I made my way downstairs, my loose bun bobbing on the back of my neck. The stairs creaked under my feet, an oddly comforting sound after so many nights alone here. I could see the silhouettes of three people outside the door. I peeped through the eye hole to see three of my favourite people: Angie, Faith and Shaelyn. I quickly pulled open the door jumping out of the way as the three girls ran in and pulled me into a hug before realizing that I was only in my bath robe.
“Talia! It’s been so long! Wait, why aren’t you dressed?” Angie bombarded me as soon as she walked in the house.
“Woah, slow down Ang,I just got out of the tub when you guys got here.” They nodded in understanding before I continued on. “Which brings me to the next question, what are you doing here?” I was so excited, I hadn’t seen them since they went to board at their college.
“We came to see you duh! We have the next week and a half off and wanted to spend some time with you.” Shaelyn replied, I only nodded in her direction pulling them into the house and closing the door behind them.
“I think that you guys need to know something before you get settled in.” I cautiously stated.
