through the fields

she felt the wind flow through her hair.
she ran through the fields without a care.
she feels her regrets being let go.
she frees herself from worrying about it all.
"you're more than that"
she says.
"you're worth it"
she begs.
"someone save me"
she yells.
"anyone please,"
but she is alone.
no one is in the fields.
she is alone
her only companion is her empty mind filled of despair.
she is alone.
she cannot run.
not a mile,
not two,
not even ten to escape the mind games of her own.
they're just too much "fun"
she is alone.
and that was how her depression was born.
