{Prompt: Write a poem about a place (or action) that is like a "hiding place" for you.}
Secrets haunt memories.
Memories haunt the present.
Every little thought, secret, memory, etcetera--they live in the mind.
A wonderful place where all of your worries wash away
or
where all of your worries consume you.
Darkness
Silence
Loneliness
DistanceWords that describe the special place
No one else knows
But youThe deepest depression
The greatest happiness
Both reside alongside one another
Sinking into the depths of depression, swiftly prancing through the light feeling of happiness
Both are in that hiding place
The one no one
But you
knows of.Swallowed by darkness on some days, shed with light on others
The miracle of the mind.
