Hey there! Its the author again~ this is similar to an author's note, but more of a question. I'm having a dilemma.
On May 11th my school is hosting a Poetry Slam. If you don't know what that is, all I know is that you choose a poem of yours to memorize and perform it in front of an audience. With that being said, I'm thinking of entering it, BUT I don't know which poem I should work on!
I have a few ideas in mind, and I'd like YOU to help me decide which one I should focus on tweaking and entering for the Poetry Slam!
The due date for submitting them is May 1st, so I hope I'll get some opinions soon.
Now, the few options I have to choose from are:
1) "Please, Watch Me"
2) "Imaginary Girl"
3) "Don't Speak"Those three poems are the ones I most relate with and aren't simple, short rants that won't captivate an audience and/or probably won't be picked, even with tweaking and adjusting.
(Even if I submit a poem there's no guarantees they'll pick mine for me to perform, but I still want to enter!)
Please read them and consider each one. I want to know which has the most POTENTIAL to be a very captivating, relatable poem.
Thank you all for reading, and please help a girl out!

Love ya!!
