The Chuunin Exams! ~Part10

Mato POV

So it was the day after the preliminaries, Saki, Yuu and I were at Ichiraku talking. Yuu looked like she was deep in thoughts, Saki and I were chatting about the usual stuff....Everyday life~ Suddenly Yuu interrupted us. 

"Guys, I think I'm gonna drop from the exam" Hold on what?! "I want to go to that Accademy more than anything! I don't care if I miss a chance to become Chuunin I just want it!" yeah that was one of the bad things, Enrolling was on the day of the third round, and if I wanted to attend and participate in the exams I had to wait another month to do so, but I didn't want to drop no way in hell! In fact I wanted to train.  I left them and head to a training ground and sat down looking at my jutsu manual.

Suddenly I felt a headache. A huge one! and I saw something. A boy. It wasn't very clear, I couldn't see his face or his hair. the vision was blurry. All I know is that he was crying. He said "Don't leave me alone, please don't go. I'm scared to be alone" Just hearing his words made my headache worse. Then the vision cleared and I was looking at his lips, that did not move. and I heard his voice again "You're just like everyone else! You're gonna run away now!". I couldn't bear the pain anymore and I let out a scream. "Stop it! Stop.....Stop it! Get out of my head!" I dug my head in my legs and the vision just disappeared.

A few days into the month it happened again. I was sitting on the roof. Saki was asleep so I was alone. It wasn't as big a headache this time but It was still painful. This time I saw the boy from the back. "You wanted to kill me from the start! You hated me! What did I ever do to you?!" He turned, his eyes were filled with rage and haterid and I can't say I wasn't the least bit scared of him. Then my view changed. It was a desert. Apparently I was looking out from a window. Then I saw Haku or rather Kuniko. "Mato. Is everything okay?"

My vision went away and as I looked up haku was really there! "Is something the matter?" I explained everything I saw maybe she knew something. She knew exactly what was wrong with me. "I would've never guessed that the 4th Kazekage would've died!" she said. I was shocked but also confused. "You see when you were little we went to the sand, because I had a mission there, and you met this boy who everyone hated. but on the last day...You were stabbed, we suspect it was the 4th kazekage, the boy's father" That made sense I guesse.

After she explained everything that Saki, Yuu and I told her after we got back to the apartment, I got another-much clearer vision. I saw a small young frail looking boy with bright red hair with a very innocent look on his face. "I remember! I remember everything!" I stood up on the roof. "Thanks Haku, I gotta go talk to someone" I jumped off the roof and went to look for him. I knew he didn't sleep, so he must have been awake somewhere. 

Later I saw two figures having a fight, I hid behind the nearest chimney and saw everything. It was Gaara and Dosu. Dosu was apparently dead. Gaara glared at the chimney, as if he noticed someone was there. He did! there was sand there. I knew what to do now. I touched the sand and it fell apart. "What do you want?" He asked. "Look I.... well I mean... Ermm.... it's complicated but basically I just want to say that.... I know what happened back then.... in the sand and I...." he interrupted me. 

"So he died huh?" I stood there doing nothing. "You're a vocaloid aren't you? That's why you're still alive" "Well yeah, but how did you know?" Apparently he did some research, not like he had anything better to do, everyone was out to get him. "So which one are you?" "Um ehe....Black Rock Shooter" "THE Black rock shooter? Isn't that the Guardian...." "Of the Shukaku one-tailed beast... yeah yeah I know...." we continued talking the whole night. and I slept in the next day.
