Niall's Pov

We just had arrived at Croke Park & I'm so hyped. I can't believe just 4 years ago I was standing in the same place auditioning for the x-factor & now here I am. It's so amazing what the fans have done for us in the last 4 years. I can never thank them enough. I can't wait to see them. We get to the stage to do a quick sound check. I went to the back to go get changed for the show & we had to do a meet and greet for some fans. I was finally dressed. When I came out of the dressing room....y/n was playing on my Segway.

" I hijacked ya Segway chump " y/n says joking with me so I ran and hit the emergency break button when she was tried to run me over when I got infront of it . I Climbed behind her on the Segway & unlocked the emergency break & guided the Segway with her to go the game room to mess with the other lads.

"Niall....now you know we are too big to fit on this at the same time. " y/n jokes laughing. I just poked her and made her laugh more. We then saw Zayn on the way over.

"Awww look at the love birds " Zayn said & then Louis was walking right over

"What?!" Me and y/n said at the exact same time.

"You guys heard me" Zayn said & Louis just laughed at us. Then he mumbled something to Zayn & they both laughed hysterically

I didn't know that they were going to have the fans meet and greet in our gameroom usually we have a different room for it. So some fans saw me and y/n roll in on the Segway. Of course some girls squealed because they were excited and took pictures of me being on the Segway with y/n. I wish someone warned me about this because now people are going to write a article & trying to make it seem like I'm playing my best friend & Selena Gomez. I've seen the articles they write & it's all shit. It's true me and Selena talk from time to time but that's about it. We hang out if time permits, she kissed me, I like her a little but I don't plan on taking things further. I'm way to busy to have a relationship & she is too with her career. y/n handles the rumors well but there was one article on that & I can tell it hurt her feelings but she was trying to be strong about it. It bothered me when people make up shit & try to cause friction with the people I love & care about. But we do our best to ignore it. I got off the Segway & greeted my fans. They were all so lovely & happy to see us.

"Can I have a picture with you and your bestfriend y/n please?...she is so nice & I really look up to you both" one fan asked me I didn't mind doing it but I know how y/n feels about. I looked at her & I know she doesn't want to do it but then the fan looked at her like with puppy dog eyes & she said yes. She put aside her feelings and we took a picture with her to make the fan happy. After the picture she said to y/n how she loved her & asked her about her fashion or something. She was just as excited to see y/n like she was for me. After she finished talking to the fan she left. I feel bad for putting her in that situation.

After the meet and greet with fans I went to go check on y/n she was hanging with our stylist Caroline and her daughter Brooklyn . I poked her on her sides to make her laugh which she did .

"Hey you ok?" I asked concerned

"Yeah I'm fine...tonight is not about me it's all about you & your homecoming....you ready big guy ?!" She said knowing what I was referring to but changed the subject. She hyped me up by shaking my shoulders causing me to get excited for the show. I was so hyped

"Yes I can't wait....its going to be nuts " I said excited

"I can't wait to see you up there, I'm so proud " she says while fake crying & pulling me into a hug. She rubbed my back annoyingly as a joke & I couldn't help but laugh. Then she did it calmly because she knew how to calm me down. I was really nervous about tonight. I don't want to mess up in front of all my people. I hope everything goes right.
