Niall's Pov

It was in the middle of the night when I woke up to y/n having a cough attack. I turned on my nightstand lamp so I can see. I patted her back so she can get it out. After she was ok I got up to get her some water so she can drink it to help her feel better.

"Babe I'm sorry I woke you" she said. I rubbed her arm & she was really hot.
"Babe why are you so hot" I asked worried. "I don't know. it doesn't matter I'll feel better when I get some sleep" she said rubbing it off. She looks so pitiful because it's clear she's sick. But my instincts was telling me to take her to the emergency room. "Y/n I really think we should take you to the emergency room." I said seriously. "No I want to sleep in bed with you. If I'm not well in the morning then you can take me." She protested. I let her win but in the morning I don't care I'm taking her to the emergency room.

Not even a hour later y/n was coughing and throwing up. I grabbed some leggings for her to put on & a tshirt then a zip up hoodie to put on her. I threw on some pants & a shirt and shoes. I grabbed my keys and I helped her get in the car. I went on my side to turn the car on and drive.

We arrived at the emergency room & they immediately took Y/n to examine her. I was tired, upset, worried and scared for my princess.I texted Liam about y/n & let him now I'm not doing anything tomorrow because I'm not leaving y/n side by no means. Liam is always the responsible one so he gets it. Time was going & passing and I was getting frustrated not knowing her condition. Finally one of the nurses came & explained to me that y/n blood pressure is severely low & she was dehydrated. They are prepping her now for a blood transfusion. My heart was so heavy knowing me princess has to go through all of this.

An hour has past and it was 6am. I did not sleep at all I was too nervous & scared for y/n. The doctor came to let me know she is going to be ok. He explains to me that pressure issues run in her family but y/n is fairly healthy & doesn't need any medication daily to take. He said this pressure attack could have stem from stress, unstable/lack of appetite which caused her to be dehydrated, but 75% hereditary but not fully grown. After he told me all of that I was just so hurt for my princess. He said she's alert & she wanted me back there. He directed me to the room she was in. Seeing her hooked up to wires looking drained just made my heart break. Her eyes were closed & I just walked beside her to hold her hand. I placed a soft kiss on her forehead & she squeezed my hand.

"Niall I'm so sorry about this it's my fault I know you are so tired from being busy & " she was just rambling about how sorry she was & I just stood still realizing she was so worried about me instead of her condition. That's when I remembered the doctor told me this happened cause of stress & y/n is stressed because of me. Im so angry with myself right now because I realized I hardly was able to spend time with y/n all week not evening noticing she was sick & stressed. She stressing herself to support me & I feel like the worse boyfriend in the world.

"Princess this is all my fault....ive been such a awful boyfriend to you" I said then she interrupted "no you have not I love you more than anything in the world" she said "I know but your in here because of me...you are stressed because of me & I hate myself because you shouldn't be going through this it should be me" I said by now tears was forming in my eyes & she used her other arm to whip my tears away. "Niall don't say that " she said "how can I not it's true..........princess listen to me.......i love you more than the air I need to breathe. I never want to loose you. Things are going to change & that I can promise you. I hope you can forgive me & give me a chance to be a better boyfriend to you" I said sincerely " you are everything to me, you are not the blame for this. I love you unconditionally & i will always love you no matter what." She said to me so calmly which gave me some peace of mind. "Now can you please get in this bed with me I can't sleep without being in your arms" she cutely demanded. I obeyed her wishes & climbed on the other side where there was no wires. I big spooned her while she was my little spoon.
"I love you princess" I said lovingly
"I love you too babe" she said & she drifted off to sleep in my arms.
