The morning light breaks through my window, and spreads onto my bed. Just kidding, I can't afford a bed. My name is Kiera Renesmee Katniss Jermagesty McKenna Ricardo Rosa de la Montoya Ramirez, but my friends call me Apple because I love apples. Also because they're too stupid to remember my awesome real name, which is so uniquely quirky and unusual, much like me.

I never knew my parents, and ever since I could remember, I lived among the Woolfs. No, not the big furry dog-like creatures who scream "Chogiwa" into the night, I mean Mr and Mrs. Woolf, who adopted me. They were really nice, but then they kicked me out of their house because I was 27 and lived in their basement. At least that's what they tell people. The truth is, I kicked myself out of their basement, and moved to New York to pursue my acting career. It's going really well. Once I got a major part in a Broadway musical. I played a table in "The Lion King." It won't be long until my picture will be up on a Times Square billboard.

Of course, I have no idea how I got the coveted table role in The Lion King production. I'm fairly ordinary looking with brown hair and blue eyes. I'm skinny and kind of tall, and all my friends say I should be a model but I'm sure they're just being nice. I'm literally not pretty at all. Like, at all. I get hit on all the time and it's so annoying. I don't understand why boys are so interested in me because I'm so ordinary looking.

My roommate Alyssa is my best friend, but she's also jealous of me. She's always trying to bring me down, saying mean things "There's no table in the Lion King, it takes place in the fucking African savannah you stupid fermented combat boot" but I know she's just jealous. Of course there's a table in the Lion King, anyone who says otherwise is an uncultured swine.

Alyssa and I share an apartment in New York City. She's a college student, and I'm a waitress. I mean I'm an actress, but I also wait tables sometimes occasionally. I grab a raw cabbage and start taking bites out of it while leaving the house, avoiding Alyssa's look of disgust.

The sun is out, and the people of NYC are hurrying about. Time to start another day!
