I feel like my life is going in a direction I had never imagined it would. What a coincidence that I would be crushing on my long lost childhood best friend! How convenient was it that he turned out to be a muscled, chiseled faced dude with a sensitive side and a dry sense of humor? The British accent is a bonus.
We went back to the hotel. The three of us had separate rooms booked, but Adam wanted us to sleep in his room as a part of his bizarre techniques of protecting himself from death.
"Sir, what would you like for dinner?" Asked Chester, picking up the room service menu.
"I don't care." Brooded Adam, sitting on the bed with his shoulders hunched. Suddenly, I felt conflicted. Here was a smoking hot billionaire, brooding sexily which I gotta admit, was pretty sexy. Should I choose Adam, or Chester? Why is my life so hard?
Chester shot me a look and rolled his eyes.
Adam got up and slunk away to the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower. Make sure you prepare my nightly beauty treatment," he said to Chester.
Sighing, Chester ran his long fingers through his dark hair.
"Alexei, how did you end up here?" I ask. I had lost track of him after being adopted, and I was curious as to how he ended up being a billionaire's bitch.
"I ask myself that every day, my little comrade."
I giggled. I haven't heard him call me that cute nickname in years.
"It's so good to see you again Alexei," I said, taking in his sharp cheekbones and jawline. So good.
He smiled at me, his deep brown eyes lighting up.
Before I knew it, I was getting closer and closer to his face, inches away from his full lips, when suddenly the bathroom door slammed open, and Adam walked out, wearing a towel around his waist.
"Chester, I demand that you dress me."
"Yes sir," said Chester, hastily springing up and fumbling around the suitcase for Adam's pajamas. So much for having a moment, I thought as I admired Adam's rock hard abs glistening with water.
