After that shocking revelation, I ran downstairs to the living room.
To my further shock, I found Adam crying in Sofia's arms. I don't think so, bitch. That's my man, I even made him a Nutella sandwich, not to mention he gave me both his meat kabobs and a hot dog. Relationships are mostly all about food.
"Ahem," I say, clearing my throat.
"Do you have a cold, Apple?" Sniffed Adam, not lifting his head from Sofia's shoulder. "There's cough drops in the freezer if you want them."
"I'm ok." I said. "Please, do carry on."
"Actually I was done," Said Adam, wiping away his tears.
"Would you care to tell me why you have a memorial to a goldfish in your house?"
Both Adam and Sofia flinched. "He wasn't just a goldfish!" Cried Adam.
"Apple you need to learn how to be sensitive!" Said Sofia, rubbing circles into Adam's back.
My jaw dropped. "Are you guys even for real?"
They ignored me.
"Oh by the way Sofia, where are the kids?" Asked Adam.
"With their nannies. After I left you, I had them both with me. I'm pretty sure I left Juandrew at our luxury apartment in China. His nanny is there too, she sends me updates saying he's still alive. I'm sure he's happy there, he's always loved Panda Express. After China, I went shopping in Italy and I left Isabeth and her nanny in our Italian villa. I'm sure she's happy there, she loves all the designer Italian stuff. She cried a lot when I left her so I gave her my post expensive leather purse to make her feel better. Parenting is really all about sacrifice." Sighed Sofia.
"I totally agree!" Said Adam. "Now I can see why we were so perfect for each other!"
I coughed, feeling slightly miffed since Adam has professed his love for me like an hour ago.
"Seriously Apple, help yourself to a cough drop."
"Ok that's enough!" I cried. Adam have you forgotten that she betrayed you? And that I was here for you? Remember Disneyland? Remember when we danced together just hours ago? Remember everything we went through together? You said you were over her and that I was the only one you had feelings for. You have to make a decision now Adam. It's either me, or Sofia." I said dramatically.
