My Best Friend, Liam Payne?

finally the moment we've all been waiting for... Gabby meets One DIRECTION!! * says in nialls announcer voice* YAY! :)

I suddenly became nervous as we walked up to the door of his complex. He obviously sensed my nerves, so he grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. I smiled back at him. He unlocked the door and 4 excited boys tackled him to the ground, I dodged them while they shouted at him.

“What happened?” the blonde one asked in his Irish accent.

“Did you kiss her?” the one with brown, windswept hair questioned.

“Liam... where you being safe?” the curly one said. The only one who didn’t question Liam was the black haired one who seemed to have notice my presence.

“Oh... guys?” black haired one said “she’s here...”

They all looked to me.

“oh.” They all chorused. Liam glared at them, blushing furiously. Blondie helped him up.

“So Gabby, this is Niall,” Liam said pointing to the Irish blonde who waved. “Louis, Harry and Zayn” They all waved at me as their names were called.

“Nice to meet you.” I said to them.

“Well don’t just stand there, come in” the one with the stripy shirt said, Louis I think his name was. We all walked in and plopped down on the couch. I sat next to Liam and Niall, Louis and Harry sat on the floor and Zayn was next to Niall.

“Hey Gabby can I ask you a question?” Louis asked.

“You just did.” My smart-ass side replied.

“Can I ask another one?”  Louis asked again.

“You already did” I told him. Liam started chuckling next to me; he has been through all of this before.

“Ugh you’re so confusing” he said “I’m just gonna go out and say it.”

“Okay” I replied

“Do you like carrots?”

“Yes” I answered. He started cheering.

“You can keep her Liam.” Louis told him.

“I wasn’t planning on letting her go...”  Liam mumbled to himself. My stomach erupted into butterflies. He wasn’t planning on letting me go? AWW wait what am I thinking? He’s my best friend. I shook my head to get those thoughts out of my mind.

“MOVIE TIME!” Louis yelled.

“I’ll make the popcorn.” Liam said.

“FOOD!” Niall shouted.

“I’ll go with.” I told Liam.

“okay we will pick the movie.” Harry said smiling evilly. Oh great. I followed Liam into the kitchen, to find him already making the popcorn.  He smiled at me. I heard the ding of the microwave and Liam turned around and reached up to the microwave to pull out the popcorn. I watched him flex, that boy had some muscles. Wait, bad Gabby no thoughts about Liam. We walked out and sat back on the couch.

“What movie did you guys put in?” I asked.

“Paranormal Activity.” Harry answered. Oh crap. The movie started and I covered my eyes, I felt an arm being wrapped around me, I looked up to find Liams gorgeous brown eyes staring back into my own green ones. He pulled me closer and I hid my head in his chest whenever there was a scary bit. I sighed with relief when the movie was over. I peeked out from my hiding place and looked around; all the boys were asleep except Liam.

“Uhh...do you want to wake them up?” I asked Liam. He shook his head.

“I think I may get to sleep to.” He told me.  

“Oh well I better get going then.” I said trying to stand up but he pulled me back down.

“No. Stay.” He ordered. I sighed and gave up; I really didn’t want to leave anyways.

“Let me just text Laura to tell her where I am”, I said and slipped my phone out of my pocket.

“Laura?”

“Yeah the girl you met at star bucks, she’s my best friend and roomie” I told him. He nodded

I locked my phone and slid it back in my pocket. Liam hugged me tighter and laid his head on mine. He hummed a song to get me to sleep, I sleepily recognised it as the a team by Ed sheeran. My eyelids closed and I fell asleep, I’ve never had a better night sleep in my life.
