*Liams POV*

"Oh my..." Amber, Gabby’s mother began, staring in utter shock at her daughter.

"You promised you'd be back." She whispered, stroking Gabby’s face as I watched on, gripping Gabby’s hand for support.

"I hope you know that it's not your fault Liam, don't beat yourself up. She wouldn't want you to; she'd kill me if I let you believe that. I've heard her talk about you so many times on the phone, she sounded so in love." Amber told me, I nodded quietly.

"Is josh here?" Laura asked. Amber nodded.

"Do you mind if I have some privacy?" Amber asked, I nodded again and moved to the door like everyone else.

"No Liam I don't mean you," amber smiled "I mean all the others," I shook my head to say that it was okay; I understood that she actually did want time alone. Everyone filed out and I saw Laura hugging Josh tightly.

"You!" He shouted when he saw me, I tensed.

"You promised!" He ran toward me, ripping himself out of Laura’s grasp and hitting my leg with his tiny fists.

"You said you'd take care of her!" Josh screamed, tears pouring out if his eyes. I sunk down to his level and met his eyes. He immediately flung his arms around my neck and hugged me tightly.

"You promised." He sobbed, tears running down his cheeks and onto my skin, I buried my face in his hair, tears falling from my eyes too.

"I know," I choked, knowing that I had failed in the 5 year olds eyes.

"I'm sorry.”

"We better go, it's getting late for him." Amber motioned to Josh who had fallen asleep in my arms. Amber hoisted him up in her arms.

"I have to go back to Australia soon; I need to get back to work." Amber sighed, placing a kiss on Gabby’s forehead; I fished my wallet out and grabbed my credit card, flashing it to her.

"No Liam, I can't take any more of your money." She pushed the card away; I shook my head and shoved it toward her. Amber sighed and brought it back toward me.

"It's alright, if anything changes then you can fly us straight up here." amber told me, I nodded, sinking back into the cold plastic chair.

"I best be off, bye Liam." She wave and moved out if the room with Josh sleeping in her arms. Everyone else stepped into the room, and to my surprise so did Megan and Niall.
