Gabby,

Day 6

The boys made me have a shower yesterday, I promise I was by your side in a matter of minutes afterward. I can't believe I left you for an hour, I was just on the roof, it was kind of calming. I had this dream and I was sure at the time that it wasn't a dream. In the dream you were awake, I hugged you, then you sent me away, you told me to do something and I'm going to tell you to do the same.

Wake up.

Day 7

I've decided that I'm not going to cry anymore, I can't. I need to keep strong for you and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to talk to the boys, I'm going to smile for you, I'm going to laugh for you because that's what you'd want me to do, and you'd do the same for me. I promise you, I'll do it.

"Coffee, liam?" Alex asked, I set the journal down and swallowed thickly. I had better start on my promise now.

"Yeah, thanks Alex." I grabbed the coffee cup and sipped it; it was Starbucks coffee, not the disgusting hospital stuff thank god.

Alex smiled at me broadly, noticing the sudden change in my behaviour but other than that she chose not to mention it, maybe thinking I was going to stop talking again.

"Have they found out who did this?" I questioned looking around to Megan, Laura and Alex, they were the only people in the room because the boys had to go to an interview on how I was doing which was all they really cared about really. The media didn't care about Gabby.

"Yes..." Alex said very slowly, eying me warily.

"Who?" I asked attentively. The three girls made eye contact with each other then looked back to me.

"We weren't told names, and the police think it was purely accidental." Megan told me, I nodded.

"What exactly happened though?"I pelted another question, I was interested to know which little insignificant person put my Gabby in hospital.

"They said that there were some fans..." Megan said slowly, watching me cautiously. I nodded.

"They were playing with some matches and accidentally put it too close to the bus, near where the gas tank was." Laura finished. The girls continued to stare at me for a reply.

"Okay..." I responded. It was that story or the fans had gotten a little crazy about Gabby and I going public and decided that they should set the tour bus alight, just for because they couldn't handle the jealousy.

A collective sigh of relief ran through the girls, they probably thought that I would get mad and shout at them. I stood up slowly, reaching my hand down to trace around Gabby’s burns.

"Do you think they'll scar?" I asked the girls, not tearing my eyes away from Gabby.

"Maybe," said Megan. I grimaced.

"I'll love you either way, scars or no scars." I whispered, lifting my hand up to her face to push back her hair, "Always."

*Gabbys POV*

The whiteness blinded me; it had never been this bright before. I took a cautious step forward, and then another.

"Yeah..." A muffled voice spoke. I whipped my head around.

"Have... Found... Who...this..." Said the muffled voice again, the rest of the sentence too quiet to hear. I whipped my head to face the other direction; the voice seemed to be coming from everywhere.

The voice spoke again roughly but this time I couldn't make out any words. It was a rough male voice, or at least, it sounded like it.

"Who's there?" I asked, my voice ringing out. No one answered.

"What... Though..." The voice began again. The muffling was unbearable, I was itching to know who was speaking and what they were saying.

"Okay..." said the voice, then silence followed.

A boy appeared in front of me suddenly, he was gorgeous, fit to be an angel. He stepped forward and traced his fingers over my arms and hands. I felt tingles where his skin touched mine.

“Do you think they’ll scar?” he asked, stopping his feather light touch lifting his head so his chocolate brown eyes could stare deeply into mine.

“What’ll scar? I don’t understand? Can you help me? Where am I?” I shot questions at him, he seemed to ignore them, grimacing slightly. He reached his hand up to push some of my hair out of my face.

“I’ll love you either way, scars or no scars,” he told me solemnly, not breaking his eye contact. “Always,” I leaned forward slightly but the boy disappeared into thin air. I felt disappointment wash over me, I needed to know that boys name. I needed to know desperately.

The whiteness around me turned to darkness again. I was kind of used to it; the white coming and going. All I knew was that I had a sense of peace and belonging in the whiteness but something was holding me back from fully embracing it, and I didn't know what.
