Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains when Harry stepped into the room tiredly.

"Did you sleep at all?" He gasped; looking at the eyes which I assumed held evidence of my sleepless night. I shook my head anyways. Harry tutted and sat the chair next to the wall.

Louis followed in after ten minutes, Laura clinging to him like he was her lifeline.

"Hey haz," he greeted, he turned to me.

"Hey mate." He said more softly, almost comfortingly. I nodded to show I noticed him. He too sat on another chair near the wall, next to Harry. Laura sat quietly beside him.

Zayn and Alex were the next to enter the room. Not saying a word just sitting on the chairs.

"I called Gabby’s Mum, she'll be here around 9." Laura informed me, sniffling. I nodded once more.

"At least say something Liam maybe she'll here you." Louis sighed. I froze, not knowing what to say. What could you say to a girl in a coma? Four little words sprung into my mind.

"To infinity and beyond." I whispered in her ear softly so no one else could hear. I glanced around the room at the confused look on everyone's faces and then back to the one I loved most.

"One day you're going to tell us what you said." Harry smiled, I shook my head. That was our little secret.

The door to the room swung open, letting us see a flushed Niall.

"She's awake!" He puffed out and sprinted away. Everyone moved quickly and emptied the room.

I kissed Gabby’s forehead carefully and walked away from the calm beeping, going down a level and into Megan's room.

"Liam! They won't tell me what happened!” Megan panicked when she saw the red rims around my eyes.

"What happened? Oh my god she's alright isn't she? I got her in time right?" Niall calmed her down quickly, telling her everything, Megan's facial expression went from shocked to more shock.

"Get me a joint room with her now Niall I swear to god." Megan threatened.

"Actually I just need to give you a quick check up then you can go visit your friend." A doctor announced from the door. Megan nodded eagerly and we were all shooed out if the room. I sprinted back up to Gabby’s room and took up my spot near her bed, reattaching my fingers with hers.

I choked on three little words that I couldn't seem to get out.
