*Louis POV*

I slowly backed away from the shrubbery Laura and I were hiding behind, I had promised Liam i would film this moment, especially Gabby’s face as he sang, just so he could watch it later. Laura’s hand fit snugly in my own as we let the new couple have time to themselves. We walked silently, hand in hand, not an awkward silence but a peaceful one. We made our way to my car; we had to get back to the tour bus so Gabby wouldn’t suspect we had seen the whole thing.

“Do you remember when we first met?” Laura asked suddenly, turning to face me, crystal blue eyes piercing my own.

“Of course” I nodded.

*FLASHBACK*

“Is that a carrot?” I asked a blonde haired girl, who was sitting on the white sand of Australias hot beaches; she nodded her head once and finished the rest of the orange vegetable.

“Nice shirt” The blonde smiled, I looked down at my stripy shirt.

“I’ve always liked stripes” I commented looking up to meet the girls sparkling blue eyes, the girl flashed a grin

“Me too,” she nodded.

“Louis’ the name” I told her.

“Laura.”

*END OF FLASHBACK*

“Everyone thinks we met just after Gabby and Liam found each other,” Laura commented, looking down.  “Little do they know we’ve known each other for years”

“Our little secret.” I winked and clambered into the car.

“I’m glad you chose Australia to holiday” Laura told me truthfully, sliding into the passenger seat.

“I’m glad you decided to be best friends with Liam's best friend” I replied and leaned over the seat, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.

*Liam’s POV*

I felt her leaning into me, I kissed her hungrily, I had pictured this moment in my dreams but nothing could compare to the real thing. Having her in my arms and being able to call her mine.

Our lips disconnected and she hugged me tightly, her fingers playing with the small hairs at the back of my neck.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to do that" I told her, looking into her eyes.

"You have no idea how long I've waited for you to do that" she replied, smiling.

"So is that a yes?" I asked, searching her eyes that glittered with the reflection of the fairy lights.
