"Congratulations, unnie-deul!" I greeted all my dorm mates as soon as we got home, "you all better treat me chicken before all of you become busy preparing for your debut," I jokingly pouted. I took off my timberland shoes and put it on the shoe shelf. Even when not looking, I can feel the stares they're giving me.
I sighed, "yah, why are you all looking at me like I just got my cat killed? You should all be happy instead of being gloomy. Gwaenchana, oh?" I smiled big enough making my eyes shut closed.
Chaeyoung went to me and hugged me sideways while walking in the living room, "We can't celebrate yet, Lisa. We wanted to debut with you, too. I thought you're really going to make it because sajangnim really l-liked you, and you're so talented and h-hardworking and-" she bursted into tears after speaking and buried her face in my shoulders.
"Aigoo, Chaeyoung-ah, don't cry!" I comforted her, "Seriously, I'm fine. I'm not really satisfied with my performance earlier, too, so I think they're being fair with the decision. And I need to improve my voice and rapping. I don't think it's time for me to debut yet." I said, no trace of lying detected in my voice.
"Y-you're really fine with it?" She said while wiping her tears. "Mhm!" I nodded.
"Chaeyoung, don't cry or i'm going to cry, too," Jennie-unnie suddenly said and squeezed us with a hug. I cooed and hugged the two.
"What?! Why are you three hugging without me?!" Jisoo-unnie yelled and launched her body on us making us stumble in the sofa.
We laughed as Jisoo-unnie strangle all of us in a big hug while laying on the three of us like a bear.
"You guys are so childish," Eunbi-unnie said with a smile on her face. "Unnie, join us!" Jisoo-unnie invited.
"No thanks, I'm going to bed early, children. Don't make a mess." She happily went to her room.
The four of us looked at each other. "Wow, Eunbi-unnie's so happy. She even smiled! That's so rare," Jisoo-unnie blurted out.
"Well, you guys are going to debut so even Eunbi-unnie's obviously happy," I said before sitting properly.
There's five of us in this dorm but Eunbi-unnie preferred to be alone, so the only ones I'm close to was the remaining four. We're like sisters from different mothers. I remember trying to get close to her, Eunbi-unnie, but she easily brushed off my attempts to befriend her, so I decided to just go with her decision. It sometimes sucks, though, since we live together and all.
"It's getting late, we should prepare to go to bed as well," Jennie-unnie stood up, "I'm going to shower first, kids. And Lisa, don't be sad, okay?"
I tightly smiled. "Mhm."

I stared at the ceiling, I didn't know how long I've been staring at it but I couldn't seem to fall asleep no matter how exhausting this day had been. I looked at my left side and saw Chaeng, sleeping peacefully with a little smile on her face. She must have been so happy.
I grabbed my phone under my pillow and checked the time. It was a little past one in the morning. I sat up and stared in space some more.
Sigh.
I stood up, I went to my closet and grabbed a sweater, scarf and a coat before wearing it.
Maybe I'll get some sleep after going to the convenience store.
