"You're an... absolute jerk... " I yawned loudly while Jamie chuckled.

It's been about ten or fifteen minutes (I lost track of time by then) since the first insult and I was feeling slightly worn out.

Who knew that insulting someone repeatedly could make you feel sleepy?

"Lisa you're still tired, you need to sleep," Jamie said quietly, causing me to shake my head repeatedly.

"Maxine isn't here yet," I whispered fearfully, "I don't wanna be alone in this room."

I know this may seem childish of me, however, it was true _ I was too scared to even sleep alone.

Even now, I need to have at least one person in the same room as me before I could even think about going to sleep.

The amount of times I've seen my dead body just... well... I guess it really terrified me.

At that time, I genuinely thought that it would get so bad to the point where I wouldn't even trust my own mum!

"But I'll be here," Jamie then said, resting his hand on my one.

Bleep! I hate how much that sentence reassured me!

"I-I guess I could maybe nap for a while..." I stammered, hiding most of my face in my pillow.

Why the bleep was I so sweaty all of a sudden?

"Sleep tight," Jamie said, smiling at me.

I then closed my eyes, praying to the elements that I wouldn't have another nightmare.

Jamie was sitting down next to me for a long time and it kinda freaked me out that he could be staring at me as I sleep.

I mentally scolded myself for thinking that, of course, he wasn't staring at me! I have a massive collection of books _ he must be reading one of them.

At least, that's what I hoped for.

I didn't really want to wake up to a creepy bleeper who was just staring at me the whole time.

Anyway, a while later, I felt Jamie move from his space on the bed.

I then heard him place something down. (See, I told you he was reading one of my books!)

Then, I felt something soft against my forehead before Jamie whispered, "Stay safe, Lisa."

He kissed my forehead...

He kissed my forehead...

He kissed my-

OH BLEEP HIS LIPS TOUCHED MY FOREHEAD! I REPEAT HIS LIPS TOUCHED MY FOREHEAD! EVERYONE GO AND JUMP OFF A CLIFF NOW CAUSE I'M DYING!

To say that I was panicking is a complete understatement!

Finally, I heard the door to my room open and shut, only to be followed by footsteps.

So much for staying with me, huh?

My heart started racing twice as fast and my palms suddenly became a lot more sweaty.

I wanted to open my eyes, to check that I was still safe, however, I was too scared to.

Bleeping hell, I sound like a wimp!

Anyway, a few seconds later, I heard another set of footsteps enter my room _ Maxine and Sophie!

I was tempted to run up to those two and hug the life out of them but then remembered that I was supposed to be asleep.

"There we go, that's all you should need, right?" Sophie said, sighing.

"Yep, pretty much."

"Lisa, we know you're not asleep," Sophie then said, causing me to open my eyes and look up at my friend.

"How did you-" I began, only to be interrupted by Maxine.

"Well, you were saying a lot of your thoughts out loud. You know, you really need to stop doing that," She explained.

Of course, I was voicing my thoughts! It just had to be because of the one habit I have (other than saying bleep a lot)!

Anyway, after another hour or so of chatting, Sophie left the room and me and Maxine were ready to go to bed.

The two of us lay side by side, staring at the ceiling.

"Did it hurt?" Maxine asked, "When you were attacked?"

I looked over at Maxine and smiled sadly, "Like hell."

Maxine looked at me sadly before saying, "You've earned my respect."

I looked at Maxine in shock _ there's no way I've got it that early!

I was barely in Celestiam for two years!

"Lisa, you've gone through so much already and you've never backed down, ever. No matter how hard life gets, you somehow find a way to get through it all with a smile on your face. I honour that quality."

I smiled at Maxine, trying to contain my excitement. I gained someone's respect!

"Thank you," I whispered.

"Your welcome, your majesty," Maxine replied before closing her eyes.

I then did the same. Suddenly, that feeling of dread that I felt for the whole time was replaced by excitement.

I was ready for what was about to happen.

I was ready to fight back.
