Guess where I was?

That's right in another nightmare!

It was as is my mind was like, "oh, Lisa isn't pulling her hair out yet _ let's give her something else to worry about!"

Bleep you brain.

Ah, bleep! I'm starting to curse my own organs! Absolutely fantastic!

Anyway, I was in a room with no windows or doors. No light either.

I just stayed there, wherever I was, staring into the darkness.

At some point, I genuinely believed that that was my dream _ a black room _ however, of course, that couldn't be the case.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my back, as if someone just shoved a knife down my back. Actually, I was pretty sure that was what was happening.

As if it couldn't get any more unbearable, I felt other slashes against my skin: it didn't hurt as much as the first injury however it still stung.

I wanted to scream, to cry, to beg whoever was doing this to me to stop however I couldn't.

My whole body was throbbing and I literally felt like vomiting. (I actually almost did!)

Just before I could suffer from another injury, I woke up.

I almost cheered out loud but decided against it, mainly because I didn't feel that well.

I then noticed two certain people in my room.

Next to me was Sophie, sitting on one end of the bed, and Jamie, sitting on the other side.

"You're awake," Sophie breathed, staring at me with bloodshot eyes _ it was clear that she was crying.

"Thank the elements," Jamie muttered under his breath however, due to how close he was, I was able to hear it clearly.

"What happened? Why the bleep are you in my room? How long was I asleep for?" Questions started flying out of my mouth.

"I wanted to go and fetch you to go down to the canteen but you were fast asleep so I left you there. When we came back, however, we heard loud grunts and yelps coming from your room and found you writhing on the bed. When we got the healer, she said you were being mentally attacked and... and..." Sophie trailed off at the end whilst tears threatened to spill from her eyes.

"You could've died, Lisa," Jamie said quietly, looking at me in the eye.

Before I could ask any more questions, Jamie started explaining once more, "Some people have the power of entering people's minds and dreams _ that's how you were attacked. However, that power takes up a lot of energy, enough to kill."

I gasped, squeezing my bedsheets. My eyes were widened in shock.

This wasn't just one person, this was a group of people and they were serious about killing me.

So serious that they'd sacrifice one of their own.

"What am I supposed to do?" I whispered quietly.

Just when Jamie was about to say something, Ash and Maxine both teleported into the room.

Great timing guys! I totally wasn't about to have a panic attack or anything.

Almost instantly, the two of them ran up to me and hugged me. Then, Maxine just had to lecture me.

No joke, she spent like 20 minutes scolding me: she even told me to warn her the next time I was about to get attacked!

Very supportive Maxine!

Anyway, a split-second later, my mum and brother (Mark) both came rushing in.

"Lisa! Oh, I swear I'm gonna kill whoever attacked you!" Mum yelled, hugging me tightly.

I simply hugged my mum back _ I didn't see her or Mark in ages.

Apparently, they needed to do a lot of work to be classified as official Celestian citizens despite already having jobs within the academy; I, however, only needed to fill in a single form with basic information seen as I was the future queen.

"Easy there mum! You're crushing her. Lemme see my Little L," Mark said while mum sighed and moved back.

"What can we do to keep her safe?" Mum asked once Mark backed away.

Ok, I get that it's a mother's job to worry about her own child but still... I was fifteen then!

Well... actually... I was an immature fifteen-year-old but that's besides the point!

"Well," Jamie replied, "We can get some extra guards around the place _ that way, no one can enter the royal's wing."

"Umm... you do know I can fight, right?" I said, however, the others simply just ignored me.

"What about when she sleeps?" Mark then asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I'll sleep in here with her. We were roommates for one day and I'm pretty sure we'll survive for another couple of months," Maxine replied while Mark nodded, satisfied.

"I can defend myself," I said, yet once again, I was ignored.

What was I, a ghost?

"How about when she goes to the toilet?" Mum then asked, folding her arms.

"I could go," Ash suggested inappropriately, causing Maxine to slap the back of his head.

"Nope, you can't. And anyway, we've got guards all over the place _ if she needs help, all she needs to do is scream really loudly," Maxine then explained.

"But what about-" Mark began

"I CAN BLEEPING FIGHT!" I yelled whilst all heads snapped my way.

Finally, I thought bitterly.

"Oh, we know that dear. We just don't think your strong enough," and that, my dear friends, is something you should never say to me.

Well, unless you want to lose your lungs... and possibly your heart...

I'm a nice person, I swear!

"Can you lot go?" I asked, clenching my fists.

I could see everyone start to shift uncomfortably _ probably trying to come up with an escape plan.

"We still have some more papers to sign..." mum said, dragging Mark behind her.

"I'm gonna help Maxine pack," Sophie and Maxine then scurried out of my room.

"I've got homework..." Ash said lamely, teleporting away.

I then shifted my gaze to Jamie, "Aren't you gonna leave?"

"But I thought I was your verbal punching bag," Jamie replied, causing me to smile.

"Alright then you, idiotic, selfish, bleeping bleeper with nothing but a bleeping bleep to keep you alive and..." I'm pretty sure you know what Jamie meant when he said he was my verbal punching bag...
