"Lisa," I heard someone say, "Lisa. Lisa, wake up!"
Then, I felt the person continuously slap my face, repeatedly saying my name louder and louder.
When I finally woke up, I looked up at Sophie. She was glaring at me frustratedly and I could tell that I annoyed her somehow.
"Morning," I mumbled sleepily.
"Come on Lisa! The kings and queens of the kingdoms want to meet you! Like... in about five hours," Sophie then said, causing me to leap out of bed.
I had five hours. Five hours to take a shower, brush my teeth, have breakfast, do my hair and change my clothes.
"When did you find out about this?" I then asked scrambling around my room to get my stuff ready.
"Half an hour ago," Sophie answered, "I tried to wake you up but you were fast asleep."
I then rushed into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. After a quick bath, I hurried downstairs to the dining room.
"Morning," Jamie said cheerfully whilst munching on his breakfast.
"Hello, don't distract me," I replied sitting down and scarfing down my own breakfast quickly.
Suddenly, I let out a hiccup.
"Bleep!" I cursed before getting a glass of water and gulping it down. After that, I held my breath whilst running back to my room.
I could hear the other young royals talking about me, however, I ignored them and rushed upstairs.
I grabbed my hairbrush and spent about an hour fixing my hair _ it took a while for me to decide what hairstyle I wanted to put my hair in.
After that, I speed-walked into my walk-in closet and looked at my selection of gowns.
After a couple more minutes, I decided on a sky blue gown. I slipped it on, making sure that I didn't mess up my hair and then put on a pair of matching shoes.
"I'm done! Where are the royals?" I then asked Sophie who was still doing her hair.
"Oh, they're coming here in another two hours," she said casually.
I stared at her in disbelief for a few seconds before yelling, "So I wasted my time panicking for NO REASON?"
I saw Sophie wince and then turn to look at me apologetically, "Well, maybe."
I sighed grumpily before walking out of our room and to the stairs. I decided to head down to the main room (which I think was a ballroom).
I found a few sofas in the corner of the room and decided to sit there, my heart hammering in my chest.
I was nervous beyond belief (I mean, I was going to meet some of the most powerful people in the whole of Celestiam).
After a couple more minutes, I got a book from one of the shelves and started reading.
Time seemed to pass quicker and quicker and before I knew it, one of the guards announced the arrival of the older royals.
I took a deep breath in before walking over to the doorway.
When it opened, I curtsied then looked back up at the older royals.
"Your majesties," I greeted formally.
Before any of them could say anything, Sophie quickly rushed past me and into the arms of who I assumed were her parents.
Exactly ten seconds later, the other royals followed in suit, clutching onto their parents for dear life.
I simply just stood there awkwardly, waiting for them to finish their hugging session.
"So... umm... would you like to go to the meeting room?" I asked awkwardly once the royals have finished.
Just before they arrived, I asked one of the guards where I could talk to the royals privately and he showed me the meeting room.
They all nodded.
I then led them up the stairs and past all the corridors. Finally, we reached the room _ I opened the door and led the royals in.
"So, as you probably already know, I am Lisa Stone _ the... the heir of Celestiam," I gulped loudly _ I didn't know why I was suddenly nervous!
"Yes, we know that. We wanted to find out more about your sudden departure," Blaze's mum said, smiling at me.
I looked over at Jamie, wondering if I should tell the royals the truth or just come up with a lie.
When I saw Jamie nod his head, I took a deep breath in and began explaining my whole situation to the older royals.
By the end of it, I saw a mix of worry and admiration on each of the royal's faces.
"You must be careful _ this is much more serious than you think it is," Sophie's dad said gravely.
"I know. That is why I've trained hard. We only know a few things about this group however we're trying hard to find the clues we need," I replied causing Sophie's dad to nod, satisfied.
After another hour or so of being interrogated by the royals, I finally led them down to the front door.
"Pleasure to finally meet you, princess. I cannot wait until your coronation," Lizzie's mum said, smiling at me.
"Neither can I," I muttered under my breath while the remainder of the other royals left the palace _ finally!
I let out a sigh in relief, causing Jamie to chuckle at me.
"They weren't that bad," He said, smirking at me.
"You weren't the one that was being interrogated!" I snapped walking past Jamie and up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Jamie asked me.
"I need to change _ this dress is so uncomfortable!" I replied, causing Jamie to laugh.
After changing, I decided to explore the palace a bit. Seen as I'd eventually live there, I wanted to familiarize myself with the palace.
Every door I opened was some sort of large room: there were plenty of guest bedrooms, a large library, a living room, a gaming room and even an indoor training room.
Later on, I found Jamie and said, "You ready to get beaten?"
Almost instantly, Jamie smiled and yelled, "You're on!" before sprinting towards the indoor training room that I found.
This is going to be fun, I thought, sprinting after Jamie.
