"[Yggdrasil's Root]." Elliot chanted, infusing her mana with yet another item.

It would completely heal Honey at the price of all her mana.

Honey knew this and tried to stop her,"I can heal myse-"

"Shut up...Idiot..." Elliot whispered, pushing the root into his mouth,"Eat."

Honey forced himself to chew as Elliot went limp in his arms.

"Everyone...Please...Forgive Honey..." Elliot mumbled just loud enough for them to hear before falling into a peaceful slumber.

Honey stood up, carrying Elliot bridal style,"I...I won't ask you for forgiveness." He began,"Only that we put aside out differences for now to make sure Elliot never cries again."

"You...I won't ever forgive you...But for master...I will try to." Alyssa muttered.

"Hmph." Abigail puffed her cheeks.

"I'll be watching you." Candie said.

"I am master's possession. If she wishes for me to make peace, I will make peace despite my anger." Belladonna replied calmly.

"Now, now. We need to get master back to Elis-" Persicus was cut off by Katherine.

"I have a better idea."

"Hm?"

"Those people there...They're possible allies. I know the kingdom's princess. Don't you think we should make new allies as an apology for master? It's the least we could do." Katherine said softly.

"She's right. Very well, is everyone in?" Persicus asked.

They nodded.

"Then we should go." They walked over to the group.

"Ah! Eli!" Katherine hollered as she waved to Elizabeth.

"Did someone?..."

"I believe one of them called you..." Beow whispered in her ear,"Do you know them?..."

"I don't think so...But that voice sounds familiar..." Elizabeth couldn't quite pinpoint where she had heard the voice from.

"It's me! Katherine!" She removed her mask and Elizabeth recognised her immediately.

She was the elven queen, they had met a few years ago when Elizabeth was travelling to different countries.

"Katherine?..." Elizabeth was confused.

Wasn't Katherine a queen?

"Why are you here Kat?" Elizabeth asked as she hugged Katherine.

"Oomph. You're a lot bigger than last time. How old are you, nineteen?"

Elizabeth nodded,"Yep! I've gotten stro-Wait no. Stop steering the topic. Why are you here?"

"Ah! I'm here to negotiate an alliance with your dad!"

"Oh behalf of the elves?" Beow asked curiously.

"On behalf of Elisia!" Katherine grinned,"The kingdom of Elves is just a city now. We're all part of master's kingdom!"

"Master? Wait wait wait. What's happened in the past five years?"

"Ah! I got a new master!" Katherine pointed to the figure being carried by a masked man.

"My master is the Emperor of Elisia!"

"W...WHAAAAT!?" Elizabeth screeched,"You're a queen! Why would you do that?!"

"Hush! Hush! You're making my ears hurt." Katherine put her finger to Elizabeth's mouth,"Master saved my race from war. Is that not reason enough?"

Elizabeth nodded quietly when Beow interrupted.

"I'm sorry, but perhaps we could continue talks inside? This is all very confusing."

"Ah! Yes, we should...I believe we owe you an explanation...And an apology. Give me a moment." Candie snapped his fingers, the crater filling itself in as the damages were repaired in an instant.

"Sir! That spell!" Leacon, a nature inclined caster shouted.

"Hm?" Candie asked.

"What tier was that?!"

"Eighth tier."

"HOOO! Such a powerful spell! Please! Let me be your apprentice!" Leacon got on all fours, kowtowing to him.

Candie stepped back, turning to Belladonna for help.

"We aren't taking disciples or apprentices. If you wish to follow us...Ask our master."

"Your master? Oh...You have a master?..." Leacon asked.

They all pointed to the petite figure silently snoring in Honey's arms.

"..." Elizabeth felt like she had fallen into a dream world.

The master of such monstrous individuals...Looked more like a child younger than her than a regal emperor that dominated his land.

"I'll save us the trouble of travelling. [Greater Teleportation]." Belladonna casted, teleporting them to the entrance of the castle mere moments.

The professors laughed incredulously, marvelling at such potent magics being used so casually.

The king was at the door of the place along with his sons, anxiously awaiting the Beow who had gone out.

"Ah! Beow! It seems you have resolved the problem!..." The king saw unfamiliar people behind Beow,"These are?..."

"Envoys of Elisia, your majesty. They're here to form an alliance..." Beow explained.

The king's eyes brightened at the news,"Ah! To have come so suddenly...I am sorry we have not prepared much!"

Belladonna shook her head,"Ah...It is no worry, your majesty. In fact, we would like to apologise...Our sparring match caused a few unwanted problems for you..."

Elizabeth was about to cry.

If that was sparring, what was 'Trying hard' to them?

"Ah...It was you?..."

"Indeed. We were carried away by the match, so much so that we started trying to kill each other." Belladonna said casually while chuckling.

The king froze,"Ah...I see..."

Candie sighed,"Alas, we let our emotions get the better of us and and a harmless match turned into a death match...Our Emperor came personally to stop us before we caused any more problems!"

"He did?"

"Indeed! With such might, our master saved one of our comrades from near death by sacrificing her own mana." Candie pointed to Honey,"This man right here was about to leave this world behind when our Emperor came and saved him! As thanks, we felt it necessary that we brought more people into our kingdom!"

The king turned to Beow to confirm it, when Beow nodded, he gulped and smiled,"Then, my guests, please! Do come in! Do come in! Tonight, we shall feast!"

"Ah...We have a small problem..." Belladonna said.

"A problem?..."

"Our Emperor's mana has been used up to save our comrade...Is it okay if you lend us a room?..."

The king felt faint,"The...Emperor is here?!"

"Ah, yes."

"Yes, please! Guards, prepare a room immediately! Make haste!" The king roared,"Please, do step in, I humbly invite you!"

To have such high profile guests, the king thanked his lucky stars.

If the negotiation went well with these eccentric individuals...They would surely stand to profit.

The king grinned internally.
