It's You or Her

"[Devourer's Wrath: Create]!" Elliot thundered, the ground trembling as the winds picked up, screeching and screaming.

"A month is simply too long! At this rate...An hour would be sufficient! HAHAHA! Puny mortals...This queen has returned!" Elliot laughed manically, the sky darkening as clouds spiralled together, creating small, gates in the sky.

In total, there were seven of them, one for each continent.

"[Devourer's Wrath: Destroy]!" Elliot roared, the gates opening in an instant.

BOOM!

Power erupted from the gates, swallowing every living thing nearby.

Cries were overshadowed by the screeching of the damned, sucked from the sky, even the barriers of the ether world unable to protect them from this terrifying power capable of bringing the world into ruin.

The Elliot inside couldn't bear to look.

She felt so selfish.

She had given up this world for Honey.

Yet, deep within her heart, she knew, she would still make the decision even if she could redo everything.

"HOW'S THIS FOR A CHANGE OF PACE?! CAN YOU SEE THIS?! I AM POWERFUL! I AM ABOVE ALL! I AM GOD!" Elliot howled with laughter, face pointing up to the sky as her true form showed.

She was no human.

She was a demon.

Her mouth expanded till her grin spread from ear to ear, her teeth razor sharp.

Her eyes turned black, her skin darkening to a shade of blackish-indigo.

"I wonder...Do you regret it now? Giving me this power? I will destroy everyone living on this planet. But I will not touch anything else. Even if you survive...You'll be stuck here. In this dead world. In a world where you two will be stuck without a single person to talk to but each other. Heh..." The Elliot outside-No, the demon, spoke to Elliot.

Even if you gave me the choice again...I would let you destroy this world.

"Hoo? Is that man really worthy of this much?"

For Honey...No price is too much.

"Well, you got yourself into this mess. I do suppose you own it to him to revive him."

What?

What are you talking about?

"Hm? You don't know? You were the one to kill him, you know~"

Stop fucking around!

Stop trying to play around with me and get to kill already!

Elliot hissed from the inside, refusing to believe it.

And yet, with a few sentences, the demon had planted that small seed of doubt that sprouted.

"Okay! Let's see...[Inventory]!" The demon called out, pulling out a small stone.

Holding it, it grinned even larger than it had before,"Brilliantly done yet again, Elliot Angels. [Activate]!" The demon crushed the stone, a tsunami of power crashing into it as the gates got even stronger.

"Yes...Yes! YES!" The demon moaned, feeling the life of others entering her, her demonic nature instantly crushing them internally.

She heard their screams, their shouts of despair, their begging to the gods.

Sniggering, the demon thought aloud,"Foolish people. The only god here is the one killing you. Has not a single of your holy tomes taught you not to worship false idols?"
