Me, Jay and Carlos are playing basketball in the gym.

"I'm so excited for the ball." I pass the ball to Jay.

"The theme is...interesting." Carlos tosses the ball through the hoop.

"Well, we couldn't decide on a theme so we combined all of our themes." I smile. "Well, it was mostly Freddie but Mal made it into a more...common sensual party."

"What was your theme?" Jay asks me.

"An wicked Auradon prom. A normal Auradon prom with a hint of the Isle. Gotta make Rotten To The Core a thing." I chuckle.

"We should play Rotten To The Core." Carlos smiles.

"And I don't think I want to go." Jay drops the ball.

"Why?" I ask him.

"Because Jay doesn't want to be a part of any party after what happened at the coronation." Carlos sighs. "Sorry, Shay."

"Jay..." I trail off.

"I don't do parties. Sure I went to Mal's hell raiser and Ben's coronation party, but that was because they were my friends and I was forced to go." Jay looks at me. "Sorry, gorgeous."

"Jay, come on. Me, Mal, Evie and Carlos are a team with you. Let's go to the party together." I peck his cheek.

"I just want to be normal. I'm ok with this new uptown part of my life and I don't want to be involved in any drama." Jay looks away.

"I'll make a deal with you; you come to the party with us, we will let you..." I look at Carlos for help. He shrugs. "Carlos will let you play any video game you want for a week." I hold out my hand. "And I'll give you a treat in the janitors closet."

"I just don't know." Jay sighs.

"I was once told that drinking makes people feel better." Carlos pulls out shot glasses from his jacket and a bottle of white wine. Me and Jay take a shot and I start to sing. They dance the dancing that is shown in the clip.

"Right here, right now. I put the offer out. I don't want to chase you down. I know you see it. You run with me and I can cut you free. Out of the drudgery and walls you keep in. So trade that typical for something colourful, and if it's crazy, live a little crazy. You can play it sensible, a king of conventional, or you can risk it all and see. Don't you wanna get away from the same old part you gotta play? 'Cause I got what you need so come with me and take the ride, it'll take you to the other side. 'Cause you can do like you do, or you can do like me. Stay in the cage, or you'll finally take the key. Oh, damn! Suddenly you're free to fly, it'll take you to the other side."

"Okay, pumpkin, you want to cut me in. Well I hate to tell you, but it just won't happen. So thanks, but no. I think I'm good to go 'cause I quite enjoy the life you say I'm trapped in. Now I admire you, and that whole 'bad' you do. You're onto something, really it's something. But I live among the swells, and we don't pick up peanut shells. I'll have to leave that up to you. Don't you know that I'm okay with this uptown part I get to play? 'Cause I got what I need and I don't want to take the ride, I don't need to see the other side. So go and do like you do, I'm good to do like me. Ain't in a cage, so I don't need to take the key. Oh, damn! Can't you see I'm doing fine? I don't need to see the other side." Jay goes to leave but I stand in his way.

"Now is this really how you like to spend your days? Whiskey and misery, and parties and plays?" I cross my arms over my stomach.

"If I were mixed up with you, I'd be the talk of the town. Disgraced and disowned, another one of the clowns." Jay walks past me.

"But you would finally live a little, finally laugh a little. Just let me give you the freedom to dream and it'll wake you up and cure your aching, take your walls and start 'em breaking. Now that's a deal that seems worth taking, but I guess I'll leave that up to you." I smirk. Jay stops walking.

"Well it's intriguing, but to go would cost me greatly. So what percentage of the team would I be taking?" Jay turns around.

"Fair enough, you'd want a piece of all the action. I'd give you seven, we could shake and make it happen." I snap my fingers. Eight shots of beer are poured.

"I wasn't born this morning, eighteen would be just fine." Jay walks towards me.

"Why not just go ahead and ask for nickels on the dime?" I scoff.

"Fifteen."

"I'd do eight."

"Twelve."

"Maybe nine."

"Ten." Jay crosses his arms over his chest. I nod and Jay holds out his hand. "Shay, looks like you've got me back on your team."

"No, I've got my boyfriend back." I hand him a shot. We start drinking numerous shots in a choreographed way.

"Don't you wanna get away to a-" We smile.

"Whole-" I point to Jay as he takes a shot.

"New-" Jay points to me as I take a shot.

"Part you're gonna play." We high-five.

"'Cause I got-" I smile widely.

"What you need-" Jay drinks a shot.

"So come with me and take-" I wink at him.

"The ride. To the other side." We both stand with Carlos.

"So if you do like I do. So if you do like me." Carlos wraps an arm around us.

"Forget the cage, 'cause we know how to make the key. Oh, damn! Suddenly we're free to fly. We're going to the other side." We all sing.

"So if you do like I do." The boys twirl me around.

"To the other side." I kiss Jay's cheek.

"So if you do like me." The two lift me onto their shoulders.

"We're going to the other side." I do a side aerial with Jay.

"'Cause if we do-" I ruffle their hairs.

"We're going to the other side. We're going to the other side." We all laugh.

"This is why we're closer to each other than we are to Mal and Evie." I smile as they lift me to the ground.

"That's my girl." Jay wraps and arm around my waist.

"Let's go to our dorm." Carlos nudges me. We all walk to their dorm.
