Us girls are at the tea shop. Mal walks in.
"Okay, so I'm excited and confused all at the same time. What is this whole 'Jewelbilee' thing anyway?"
"Imagine Cinderella's ball, the Festival of Fools and the Madhatter's tea party all mixed together times six!" Allie says. That is mad!
"Yes, Allie. You imagine that all you like. The Jewelbilee is a dignified ceremony where each of us were given our birthright jewels." Audrey needs to explain a lot of things.
"Once we showed we were good. No grades. It's pass/fail." Jane hands Mal a cup of tea.
"Well, we all got our jewels years ago. See?" Audrey shows us pictures of her younger self.
"Wow! Awkward." Evie makes me snigger.
"And now, for the first time they're releasing jewels for the VKs!" Audrey squeals.
"Releasing?" Evie seems confused.
"Well, yes. When the villains were relocated, their jewels were collected." Audrey smiles.
"Translation: stolen!" Mal makes me snigger.
"So they could be held safely. And now Auradon will bestow them upon you with a majestic Jewelbilee!" Audrey stands up.
"They're giving us our own jewels? How generous!" Freddie doesn't look happy. Audrey's face turns green. Jordan spits out her tea and laughs.
"What?" Audrey asks. Evie's face turns blue. Allie gasps and points at Evie's face.
"Huh?"Evie looks at the camera on her phone and gasps.
"Oh, snap! Who's the rarest of them all?" Mal's face turns pink.
"Seriously?" Evie makes Mal look at her face in her phone's camera.
"Looking good, Green Face!" Freddie says sarcastically. Her face turns orange and Jordan's face turns yellow.
"Oh, dear!" Allie says as her face turns lime.
"Oops!" James face turns red. "I bibbided the tea. It was supposed to be a surprise. To give us a healthy glow!" Everyone looks at me.
"I don't drink tea." I smirk. "Khans are sneaky, intelligent, fabulous and beautiful. Take my papa for example." I flip my hair over my shoulder. "I may have a British accent, but I don't drink tea. I'm not a British person. Don't be racist."
"It's okay, Jane. I look fierce. Hey, maybe I'll even match my jewel." Mal smiles.
"Uh, wait. You didn't tell her? Nobody told her?" Lonnie looks at Audrey.
"Maleficent hid your jewel. Somewhere on the isle." Allie tells Mal.
"Oh, snap!" I say.
"Everyone looked, but it was never found." Audrey looks sad.
"So, you're not getting one, Mal." Jane says.
"Two inches tall, shoved in a jar, and my mom is still ruining my life." Mal sighs.
"I know. It really puts a damper on the whole celebration." Audrey just ruined the moment. Mal scoffs. We sit in silence.
"How was your night in the janitors closet with Jay?" Jordan asks me.
"Awesome! We made out and he gave me my first hickey." I show them the hickeys on my neck. "We might have gone overboard with the neck thing. It was amazing."
"Have you told Jay and Carlos about your new song?" Allie sits down.
"They want me to sing it to them when I play Tourney with them this afternoon." I smile.
"That's against the rules!" Audrey stands up.
"So? Rules shouldn't stop me from being happy." I also stand up.
"I forbid you from playing Tourney with the boys!" Audrey stomps over to me.
"You're stopping me from spending time with my boyfriend and my best mate? That sucks. You AK's need to know how to have some fun." I walk out.
"Get back here!" Audrey demands.
"You're not my mama or my papa!" I get on all fours and I run away.
