I've officially started a music career. I have five songs already which includes Our Beautiful Love. I have music videos for them as well which are super amazing.
"I'm so happy you could design my dress." The girl squeals.
"I am in business." Evie smiles.
"But what are you doing?" The girl looks at me.
"I'm doing makeup. I have about...twenty customers already." I continue with my makeup experimenting.
"Oh. Will you do me?" She asks.
"Of course." I stand up and look at her. "What's her outfit colour?" I ask Evie.
"Green like Tinker Bell." Evie shows me the material.
"Got it." I sit back down on her bed.
"What are the charges?" The girl asks.
"I do it for free. I'm not in business." I smile. "What's your name?"
"Taylor Bell." She smiles.
"I'm Shayla Khan. This is my papa." I kiss papa's head.
"Shere Khan?" She questions.
"Don't ask." Evie measures her midriff.
"Who's your date for cotillion?" I ask her.
"Aziz, Aladdin's son." She gushes. "What about you two?"
"Mine is my boyfriend, Doug." Evie writes something on her notepad. "Shay's going with her boyfriend, Jay."
"Is your dad cool with that? Dads can be super overprotected with their daughters." Taylor looks at papa.
"He's cool. Took him some time, but he understands." I stroke papa.
"I've never heard that from a villain." Taylor looks at Evie.
"I mean, he has fallen in love before. Red Jessica's pet tiger is my adopted mama. She died from a disease." I sigh.
"I am so sorry." Taylor smiles at me.
"It's fine. She died when I was too young to remember her." I wipe my eyes dry.
"Are you still going to the fencing practise?" Evie asks me.
"Yep. I haven't told Jay or Carlos. They wouldn't want me to go." I close my book.
"It is dangerous-"
"You sound just like Carlos." I walk over to her.
"Oh, in late. Bye!" Taylor runs out of the dorm.
"I need to find Mal." Evie runs out of the dorm as well. I look at papa. He whacks his tail in my face.
"What?" He growls. "Let me go." He growls again. "Look, you're a tiger, I'm half a tiger. I can't fight like you all my life. Let me go to the practise. Jay might put me on the team. He's the Captain. If I'm better than him, then I'm the best because Jay can fence better than Captain Hook." He nuzzles me. "I will." We hug. Evie drags Mal into the room. "Mal!" I hug her.
"Hey, Shay. Hi, Mr Khan." Mal hugs me back. Evie pulls out a dress. "That's nice."
"Needs a fitting." Evie leads Mal to a stand. Mal stands on it. I try to figure out her makeup. Evie tightens the dress.
"Oh! Ok, Evie, I cannot breathe." Mal says.
"Well, you can breathe after Cotillion." Evie looks at her.
"Well, I sincerely doubt that. I have at least twenty more events directly behind it, and I can't even remember what a single one of them is."
"Aw, boo." I look up at her. "You'll get use to it." I continue writing in my book.
"Aw." Evie does the kiss thing when you kiss your fingers because something is perfect. "Impeccable." Evie fiddles with the dress.
"Evie? Shay?" Mal's about to ask us a question.
"Hmm?" We respond.
"Do you ever think about what we'd be doing if we were back on the Isle right now?"
"That's funny." Evie laughs.
"Probably causing mischief, getting ready for a sleepover at mine." I smirk.
"Ah! Look who's on TV." Evie says. I look at the TV.
"As the royal couple continues their tour of the kingdom, they dined with Aladdin and Jasmine. Six months ago-"
"Yeah." Mal doesn't look happy from her position on her bed.
"No one thought King Ben and his girlfriend from the wrong side of the bridge would last." Exquese me?
"Yeah. No kidding."
"Mal must be counting the days until the Royal Cotillion...when she will officially becomes a Lady of the Court." Mal sits down next to me with her book. Me and Evie look at her.
"Read it fast at lightning speed. Remember everything I need." Mal spells her book she needs to read and she quickly flips through the pages.
"Mal." I say firmly.
"What?" Mal doesn't look at me.
"We know Mal's secret to fitting in, and Ben wouldn't like it one bit." Mal looks at Evie then back at the book. "Haven't you guys had enough secrets between the two of you already?" Evie walks over to her.
"Evie, you remember what I was like before I started using my spell book. I mean, I was a complete disaster." Mal looks at Evie.
"Well, personally, as your best friend, I strongly believe that this spell book-" Evie takes the spell book.
"Ah!"
"It belongs in the museum, along with my mirror." Evie is right. Mal pouts. "Don't give me the face. Put the pout away. Mm-hmm. You know I'm right."
"You guys don't ever miss running wild and just breaking all the rules?" Mal asks us.
"Like stealing and lying and fighting?" Evie looks at me.
"And vandalising property with spray paint while singing Rotten To The Core?" I sigh.
"Yeah!" Mal smiles.
"No!" Me and Evie shout.
"What?" Mal looks at us.
"Why would we? M, come here." Evie walks with Mal to the TV. I stand with them. "Look at where we are. We're in Auradon! And we're Auradon girls now."
"Since Mal revealed her love of strawberries, she has received hundreds of cartons from her admirers. Here she is enjoying a cozy bite-"
Evie squeals. "See, this is the land of opportunity. We can be whatever we want to be here. So, please, let's just leave the past in the past, okay? Besides, I mean, look at the shoes." Evie grabs the shoes Mal will be wearing for Cotillion. "Look at them."
"Mm. Severe." Mal smiles.
"M, there are so many things the Isle wouldn't allow. We wouldn't be able to find love, I wouldn't be able to write songs, Jay and Carlos wouldn't have made it on the Tourney team, Evie wouldn't have passed Chemistry, you wouldn't have found Ben if we were still rotten to the core." I side hug her.
