"Ok class, today we are doing a group project. Yes you may pick your partners" sighs Ms. Duran with a smile.
I automatically run to Hayes because he is the only one I don't hate in this class. He looks up and smiles at me so I guess we had the same idea.
"Partners.?" I ask.
"Always." Hayes replied.
I smile because at that moment he made it clear that we are partners for life. He was my ride or die. My amigo. My ooh to my kill 'em. My... my...
Wait. What am I thinking.?? He is my best friend and I love him. But not in that way, or maybe I do...
