Chapter 35/ the end.

•Matt's POV•

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I wish I could go back and live that day again.

I would hold her tighter. Kiss her harder. Tell her I love her one more time. She seemed so happy. I thought everything was fine.

On that day me and Renee were sitting on the couch, you know typical day, or at least I thought it was.

I did notice she looked tired.

"Babe, are you okay.?"

"Yeah... Just tired." she said.

Just tired. I should have noticed. Ugh so dumb.

"Babe I'm gonna go take a nap." She said.

"Okay." She hugged me, for a really long time.

"I love you." She said.

"Haha are you okay.?" Idiot. I should have said I love you back.

She walked off and looked at me, and smiled.

Hours had passed and Renee hadn't come out yet.

I knocked on her door.

"Babe..?" I knock again.

No answer.

I thought she was asleep.

The silence was putting me on edge.

I knock harder.

"Renee." I say worried.

"Renee.!"

I bang on the door trying to break it down but I feel weak. Tears fill my eyes and I can't open the door. So I just kneel and put my head on the door.

I feel someone grab my shoulder and push me aside. Its Hayes. I didn't even hear him walk in.

He knocks down the door, looks in, and breaks down.

"I-I'm sorry." He says crying.

I look in. I see pills and her laying on the floor.

I have never felt so weak. So helpless. I couldn't save her.

I fall to the floor in tears. I'm crying like a baby.

Hayes holds me "its okay."

"I couldn't save her.. I couldn't save her." I repeat over and over.

"I didn't even know.!"

After about 20 minutes of crying I get up and go into her room.

I go to her and hold her cold body.

I see a note on the floor with a shoe box on it.

Dear Matthew,

I just wanted to let you know that I love you with all my heart. And I know that you feel you couldn't save me but I was far from saving, my love. I want you to continue your life without me. I don't want my death to be a burden to you. I don't want to slow you down. You were made for great things and I want you to do great things. I love you so much. Goodbye, love.

I open the box and there is are 14 bracelets and it says,

To Matthew, Liza, Hayes, Cameron, Jessica, Nash, Jacob, Jack, Jack, Shawn, Aaron, Mahogany, Taylor, and Carter,
