Chapter 9/ Julie's Rumors

•Hayes' POV•

By now me and Renee have been dating for about half a month. I still give Renee rides to school and as soon as we get there we always automatically hold hands and everyone starts talking about us.

"I don't see that lasting" some annoying kid from our math class whispered.

Renee looked down in sadness. "Don't listen to them." I said lifting up her head giving her a kiss. She smiles and my heart feels warm.

We make our way to first period and we separate because we sit like 2 rows away from each other. And as soon as we separate this girl who has had a crush on my since 5th grade walks up to me.

"What do you want Julie." I say in disgust.

"Oh, haha I just wanted to say that I can see Renee cheating on you just give it time, and you'll come crawling to me.!" She squeals in her annoying voice. But then I realize Renee is right behind her and taps her shoulder.

"Haha hi. I was just noticing that you are talking to my boyfriend. And something about me cheating.?" Renee says with a smile then makes a serious face.

"Oh.! You haven't heard the rumors.?" Julie says then laughs and walks away.

"What is she talking about.?" Renee says with a worried face. "I don't know, my love" I give her a kiss then the bell rings. She goes to sit down.

Lunch

• Renee's POV•

At the corner of my eye I see Julie and her friends look and me and Hayes and laughing.

"Can I please go punch her in the face.?" I have always been aggressive with everyone who hates on me. x)

"Hey, haters gonna hate.!" Hayes says in a dorky voice and putting his arm around me. "Haha ight."

After school

"Hayes.! Come to my house.! Hahaha" Julie yells.

I look at her with my annoyed face.

"Oh haha yeah I forgot, Jennifer wasn't Hayes going to your house.?" she says pointing to one of her friends.

"Oh yeah.! Don't forget Hayes.!"

"Shut up.! I never said I was going to your house.!" Hayes yells.

"Oh. I forgot. You didn't want Renee to find out." She giggles.

Um.

"No babe. I love you.! Not them. I would never EVER cheat on you." he says then kisses my cheek.

"I know. Remember haters gonna hate.?"

Hayes smiles then kisses me and we head to my house.
