Heather's POV
It was 7 o'clock when people started to arrive. Mostly just friends of my parents, and Nash and Cameron. Nash brought his girlfriend and family along as well. Cameron was the last to arrive and he was all dressed up in a suit.
"Well don't you look spiffy," I winked.
"Super spiffy," he laughed. We mingled for a while until it started to get a bit crowded.
"Wanna go somewhere quiet?" I asked. He nodded and took my hand, leading me towards my dad's office. I opened the door slowly but regretted it when I did. My father was in a full on make out session with some blonde lady. I slammed the door shut and took off towards my bedroom. Cameron followed quickly behind and shut my door.
"What are you going to do?" he asked.
"I have to tell my mom... this is terrible," I sighed.
"I know baby," he agreed, kissing my temple. "How about my gift to cheer you up?"
"Cameron you really didn't have to," I smiled.
"Oh but I did," he chuckled. He pulled out a long silver box wrapped in just a ribbon. I slid it off and opened the top. Inside was a beautiful necklace with a locket on it. Inside the locket was a picture of us and an inscription. Heather and Cameron forever
"It's beautiful Cameron," I smiled widely. He handed me a card to go along with it.
"It took me forever to find the right words to put down but that uh pretty much covers it." He blushed. I read it silently.
-Heather, I've loved you since I met you. if we can survive a zombie apocalypse together than I think we can make it through anything. You have my heart, now and for always. I will love you till the day i take my last breath. Unless of course I come back as the undead. Have a happy happy birthday my love. Xoxo Cameron-
I laughed and cried, it was so sweet.
"I love you so much," I told him.
"I love you too," he replied. I kissed him sweetly before taking his hand to bring him back to the party, before anyone noticed our absence. It was time for my mother and father's gift so I had to sit in front of everyone.
"Sweetie, we are overjoyed to have to living with us," my mother smiled. My father eyed me intently. "We wanted to give you something that is just as special as you are,". She brought me over and wrapped box and I tore into it. Inside was (Tom Hiddleston... jk I wish) a silver violin with gold decal on it. It was gorgeous. "It was my mothers back when she played and if I remember correctly, you played as a little girl and still do, according to YouTube videos I have seen"
"Mom... this Is amazing" I choked out with tears swelling in my eyes. I engulfed her in a hug.
"Oh that's not all," she laughed. My father left the room and came back with another box but I only saw it briefly before my mother covered my eyes. When she moved her hand there was a little pitbull puppy sitting in front of me. It was staring up at me with its pretty brown eyes. They stood out against his light gray fur.
"It's a puppy!!!!!!" I squealed. Everyone laughed and I kneeled down next to him.
"Well what's his name?" Cameron asked. I pondered the question for a moment.
"Prince," I smiled. My little prince. Everyone clapped and I kissed prince on the head. My father left the room and my mother followed. Hmm...----------------------------------
A/N- I've decided on two more chapters... The last will be like a future update thingy. And I just wanna point out that pitbulls are sweet dogs and not the vicious monsters they are portrayed to be. There is no such as a bad dog, only a bad dog owner.
And as for the name Prince, my neighbor has a chihuahua named Prince Charming so I got it from there. He's a nasty little thing that hates me but I like the name Prince lol
