Chapter 27

Heather's POV

I was so furious when I saw Cameron kissing that whore. I grabbed Jackson and pulled him away. I was honestly glad to see him alive and I felt bad, but maybe I could use him to make Cameron jealous. I'm not even sure why I want Cameron jealous, I want him to feel what I do. Of course I still like him... and Nash... definitely not Jackson though and I feel bad. He's a good guy, would make a good boyfriend, he's cute but I saw him more as a brother.

"Are you okay?" he asked me. I nodded and smiled at him sweetly. "Are you and Nash still together?"

"Um no.. it kinda fell through," I sighed.

"Oh," he simply said. He snaked his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I blushed and smiled nervously. Should I lead him on and use him in my personal game? I don't know..... he leaned in to kiss me and I turned my head so he caught my cheek.

"I... I'm sorry" he whispered.

"No I'm sorry, you're a great guy and I hate myself for not liking you, but I only see you as a close friend. I hope you can understand," I smiled apologetically.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to push you to do something you wouldn't wanna do" he sighed. "Maybe.. I could help you get back at Cameron for kissing Karyn?"

"You read my mind," I smirked. He took my hand and we made our way back to Nash and Cameron's families. I got closer to him as we neared.

"Hi honey" mrs.grier said. Anna was playing with Skylynn and Karyn was bugging Cameron. He looked up at us and a scowl formed. I sat down with Jackson behind me and leaned back against him. He played with my hair and I smiled. Nash and Cameron looked pissed. I kinda feel bad about Nash but not about Cameron at all. He can go fuck himself.

"Hungry?" Nash asked us. I nodded and he handed me some food.

"Heard anything about a cure or my parents?" I asked anyone open to answering.

"All we have heard is that they are heavily guarded and safe" Hayes told me.

"Thanks Haysie" I smiled. He nodded and went back to his dinner. Jackson wrapped his arms around my waist and I kissed his cheek.

"Um heather can I talk to you?" Nash asked.

"Of course," I sighed. He pulled me away to a more private place.

"What's your game?" he asked.

"What do you mean Nash?" I questioned innocently.

"I know you don't like Jackson, you're playing me or Cameron, which one is it?"

"I saw Cam kissing Karyn earlier and Jackson agreed to help make him jealous," I confessed.

"Do you still like Cameron?" he asked slowly, almost not wanting the answer.

"Of course I do. I like you too. I don't like Jackson though as you said. I don't want to mess up the friendship we had before I got with Cam then you. I wish we could go back to normal" I whined.

"Me too, I don't regret being with you though, I got to live my dream for a while," he smiled sadly. "If you like Cameron you should tell him, he feels bad for paying more attention to Karyn. I'll be happy as long as you are" he told me.

"Thanks Nash" I said hugging him.

"Anytime babe" he smirked. I hit him playfully and we went back to the group. Jackson pulled me to his side and I smiled. Karyn was hanging off of Cameron but he wasn't smiling at all. He pushed her off of her and moved next to Skylynn scooping her up. Anna came and sat with Jackson. Cam was so cute with Sky. maybe it was worth another shot.
