Chapter 33

Heather's POV

The guard led me to the front desk and I thanked him. I looked at the clerk lady.
"Heather McLaire?" She asked looking over her blue rimmed glasses.
"Yes ma'am," I nodded. She handed me and letter and went back to her paperwork. It was from my mother.
"Heather, I hope you're doing well. I've asked a couple guards to keep an eye on you and they say you are okay. I'm sure you heard about my little bite, but I assure you that I am ok. It was all thanks to your father's serum. We hopefully will have a cure soon. we are getting so close, I can feel it! well I just wanted to check on you honey, feel free to give us a call on the satellite phone and scribble out a letter. I miss you. Love always, mom."
I smiled down at my moms kind words. I'm very glad she was okay after the bite. It's good to know she is in safe hands with my father. I decided to write them a letter and give it to Gomez since he goes back and forth regularly. I grabbed a pen and paper and sat down.
"Mom, glad to hear you're ok! I have decided to take you up on you're offer of moving in with you. it's time to move on from the past. I am doing okay, thanks for the concern. I thought the guards were eyeing me a lot ;) haha well I can't wait to see you guys again. good luck on the cure! love, heather" I sealed it in an envelope and found Gomez.
"To my parents please, when you have time of course sir," I smiled.
"Of course," he laughed. I saw Nash and he waved me over.
"Hey Nashty," I chuckled.
"Hey, wanna walk with me? I was gonna look for cam," he said. I nodded and linked arms with him as we skipped back to Cameron. We were laughing about nothing but what I saw when I got back was nothing to laugh about.
Cameron was kissing Karyn.
