Abbey’s P.O.V

It was the day we were to head back to Australia. I had become so much closer with Calum over the week and I thought that it was pretty cool. I was pretty close with everyone, although not so much Luke. I didn’t really mind though, he made Ariella happy and I knew what I needed to know.

Michael’s P.O.V

I woke up without Abbey next to me, which was pretty odd. She would usually wake me up or wait until I woke up. I heard some light music coming from the lounge and I thought I would go check it out. I put on some pants and slightly opened the door. ‘Remembering Sunday’ by All Time Low was playing and I could hear Abbey singing along to the lyrics. She was putting away some dishes.

I went back to the room and put some more things into my suitcase before throwing on some clothes to wear for the day.

The song was over and a new one started. I could recognise the drum beat to Blink-182’s ‘I Miss You’ but when the guitar came in a little early, I automatically knew it was the cover the boys and I did a year or two ago.

I walked into the lounge and saw her straightening up a few more things before noticing my presence.

“Michael, hi!” she said surprised, she started to walk over to her phone to change the song but I stopped her

“Keep this on, I haven’t heard it in ages,” I said

I put my arms around her and pulled her close.

Abbey’s P.O.V

The last few lyrics of the song played by as Michael held me tight, but our cute little moment was ruined when Ashton walked in.

“What time are we leaving?” he asked

“Like an hour and a half,” I said

He nodded and walked off.

Ariella’s P.O.V

~A few hours later

Luke and I were at the airport, ready to pick up Michael, Calum, Ashton and Abbey.

Luke was still acting weird, I had come to a conclusion that it wasn’t about his mum at all; but I was trying to convince myself it wasn’t because of Lucy.

Before I could keep thinking about it, they walked out of the gates and I went to engulf them in a hug. We headed back to the house as they spoke about their trip, and we spoke about our adventure; without mentioning the petty fight.

When we got back to the boys house, I asked Abbey if I could talk to her, and we headed to our house.

“Do you know anything about a Lucy?”

“Lucy? I only know of Lucy that used to go to school with us,”

“Promise me you’re not lying,”

“I’m not lying Ariella, why are you asking?”

“It might sound pathetic but I went on Luke’s phone to send myself the selfies we took together and when I unlocked it, it opened up on his text conversations and the top thread was from someone named Lucy and she had some hearts or something next to her name. He’s been acting really weird and I’m worried,”

“Ella, I really don’t think he would do anything. Do you want me to talk to him?”

“I don’t know, maybe?”

“Well it’s up to you, so just say if you want me to talk to him,”

“Thanks,”

“It’s nothing, now I think everyone wants to catch up,”

We walked back over to the boys’ house where they were setting up their instruments. They started a band practise in which Abbey and I hummed along to.
