Ariella’s P.O.V

~A week before tour

It was Saturday, Luke didn’t come over last night, he had a band practise and Calum told me he had fallen asleep on the couch when they were having a conversation about publicity.

I had woken up cold because I didn’t have his arm slumped around me. I had a shower and I let my hair dry on its own. After a few hours Abbey walked out of her bedroom and came into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of water considering we hadn’t been shopping in ages.

“Luke didn’t stay last night?” she asked

“No, did Michael?”

“No, he didn’t, I told him not to,”

“Woah, are you guys okay?”

“Yeah, I kind of just wanted a night to myself,”

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” she gave me a smile

“What are your plans for the day?” I asked

“I don’t know; I will probably go next door, how about you?”

“Luke and I are going out to lunch,”

“Have fun, I’m going to have a shower, see you later or something,” she said walking out of the room and into the bathroom.

I got up off of the couch, grabbing my phone and purse before walking out of the house. I went to Luke’s house and let myself in.

“Hey Kaela,” Calum said from the couch, still in his sweats, with no shirt on.

“Hey Cal, how are you?”

“I’m good, really pumped for tour,”

“That’s good; you guys are going to have so much fun,”

“I can’t wait,”

“Where’s Luke?”

“He’s in the shower, he shouldn’t be long,”

“Did he get first dibs?” I laughed

“Yeah, it sucks because the whole bathroom will be covered in water,”

“Fun for you,”

We sat in silence for a few minutes. Not long later Luke came out of his bedroom in skinny jeans and his nivarna shirt.

“Oh, you’re here, I was going to go get you,” Luke said smiling

“Well you don’t have to now,” I said. He walked over and sat on the couch next to me, giving me a kiss before putting his arm around me.

“I’m going to go have a shower, see you kids around,” Calum said

Luke stood up and took my hand, we walked over to his car and we drove over to a popular milkshake place in the middle of the city. We parked the car and walked into the place hand-in-hand.

“What do you want?” Luke asked

“Chocolate,” I said

He nodded and ordered one large. He picked up two straws and we sat at a booth. Not long later the milkshake arrived at our table and we put the straws in and started to drink the beverage.

Luke started to make funny faces and was trying to make me laugh as much as he could.

“I’m going to miss you so much when I’m on tour,” He suddenly said

“I’m going to miss you more,”

“At least you have school to keep you distracted,”

“It won’t keep me as distracted as I would like it too though,”

“I love you so much,”

“I love you too, Luke,”

We finished the milkshake and left. We went for a walk down to the park.

“Sit on the swing,” He said

I obliged and sat down. He stood behind me and pulled the seat. He pushed me on the swing for at least 5 minutes as we spoke about the tour and past experiences.

He stopped the swing and we sat on the grass, continuing our conversation.

About half an hour later we went back to the car and headed back to his house.
