Ariella’s P.O.V

It has now been two weeks since the boys left for tour. Abbey still hasn’t shown up for school, and I only see her for 3-4 hours a day before she goes into her room and blocks out the world.

I was walking home at a fast pace because Luke told me he was going to Skype me. Over the past few days he had been sending me videos telling me how much he missed me and loved me. I would usually just text back, mainly because I wouldn’t know what to say, because it was one sided.

I walked through the door and Abbey was in the lounge on her laptop.

“She just walked through the door,” Abbey said

“Hello Ariella!” Ashton said through the computer

“Hi Ash, how are you?”

“I’m really good, I was just killing time actually, here’s Luke, and Abbey? I will call you now,”

“Okay, I will go to my room,”

She picked up her phone and walked away, leaving me standing in the doorway with Luke on her computer screen.

“Ariella are you there?” Luke asked

“Yeah,” I said sitting down in front of the laptop

“How are you?” he asked

“I’m tired, how are you?”

“I’m busy, tired and excited,”

“That’s cool,”

“Yeah, I guess, there have been so many shows; I can’t wait to see you,”

“I can’t wait to see you either,”

“I miss you so much,”

“I miss you too,”

We continued to talk for about 2 hours before he announced that he had to go; we internet hugged before he hung up and I returned the laptop to Abbey.

“How was it?” She asked

“It was really good, thanks for setting it up,”

“It’s really no problem, you should be able to speak to Luke whenever you can, have you spoken to Cal lately?”

“Yeah, he spoke to me yesterday, we miss each other, and he said he would take me to the movies when we see each other,”

“Sounds like you have everything planned,”

“Yeah, we do,”

“That’s cool,”

“Yeah, anyways, I’m going to go have a shower,”

“Okay, have fun,”

Abbey’s P.O.V

“Hey Ash,” I said answering my phone

“Hey Abbs, I have a few things I really want to talk to you about,”

“You’re calling me Abbs now?”

“Don’t avoid my point,”

“Fine, what do you want to talk about?”

“I actually think we should FaceTime rather than speak over the phone,”

“Okay, you call me,” I said hanging up the phone.

“Hello,” I said as the call connected

“Hi,”

“What did you want to talk about?”

“You,”

“What?”

“How are you? Honestly?”

“I’m really tired, and I just don’t feel good,”

“You still haven’t eaten have you?”

“I haven’t eaten much,”

“What was the last thing you ate and when did you have it?”

“Ash, are you trying to monitor me? Because it isn’t nice,”

“Just answer my question,

“I had half a slice of pizza the other night,”

“When you say the other night when do you mean?”

“Like two days ago?”

“Abbey, please eat something,”

“I’m not hungry though,”

“But something is going to happen, you will pass out or something will happen to your body,”

“Ashton please stop, I will eat something tonight,”

“Make sure Ariella is your witness,”

“I will, now was there anything else?”

“Are you sleeping?”

“Yes but not really?”

“Abbey, I’m actually so worried about you, you are slowly wasting away and I’m not there to help,”

“Thanks for caring Ash, but I am trying to get better, I promise,”

We spoke for about 2 hours before we ended the call. I again ignored a phone call from Michael before Ariella walked into my room.
