Chapter Fifteen

Mari's Pov

That whole ride home from school was so annoying  with some voice in my head, 'It's me Mari-Anna.' After a while I guessed it was Finn, he was only standing a few metres from me, near the forest behind the house. 'Finn...What do you want?' I sent him a message through my thoughts, annoyed.

'I want you to come talk to me,' he was pleading in my thoughts.

"Mari? Hurry up and get inside," I heard William calling me, I looked at Finn with apoloetically.

'I have to go, meet me at the same place you did today on monday at lunchtime alright?' Not waiting for his answer, I walked towards the door leading inside and shut him out of my thoughts, I know it was harsh but I needed peace. I noticed it was really quiet, too quiet for my liking, until I heard whispers from the trees behind me, "Mari-Anna Swan, come to me." I didn't turn around as the voice echoed, I darted through the front door and slammed the door behind me. I relaxed a little backing away from the door, I hand touched my shoulder, making me squeal.

"Jesus, Mari....you almost made me have a stroke." Aish had removed his hand and i looked at him with an apologetic smile.

"Sorry Aish, you startled me," I tried not to stutter as he looked into my eyes which probably showed I was terrified.

"That's alright, are you okay though?" Aish looked at me with concern.

"Oh, I'm fine," I know I lied but  he didn't need to worry. Trying to the subject I asked, "Where are Melanie and April?," looking around, I could hear there voices.

"Right here." The two girls called from the living room, they were watching T.V.

"What are you watching?" I asked with a frown.

"Umm, some show about supernatural creatures and paranomal activity, it's quite weird," Melanie explained. About to sit down, I notcied the two girls were sharing the one seater, the two seater was empty, "Umm are you two going to sit down or..." April asked.

"Yeah," Aish replied sitting in on the two seater as he smiled at me. 'Great now its either I sit on the ground or sit with Aish' I was debating with myself.

"Mari? What about you?"

"Oh, Umm yeah." I decided to sit with Aish, sitting next to him I could feel the warmth coming off his body and all I wanted to do was snuggle into him and relax. 'Are you kidding? He will think you are a freak!'

I felt someone entertwinging their hand with mine, I knew whose it was, I looked up at Aish shyly, 'I swear he can hear my thoughts or something,' I thought to myself, I didn't remove my hand from his though. It was warm and soft, I had no intentions on letting go.

Aish's Pov

I knew she wanted to be near me, I could hear her thoughts, I wanted to be near her too. Our hands were entertwined, I wasn't even thinking of letting go, her hand was small and soft, I wanted her to be mine. 'Aish! Please tell me you aren't falling for my sister...' I rolled my eyes, of course he would be listening to my thoughts.

'So what if I am?'

'Yuck, mate she's a stubborn litt-'

'No she's not,' I thought defending her, 'now leave, it's hard to act natural when I have someone in my head.'

'Yeah yeah.' Just like that my mind was quiet again.

"Aish?" I was pulled out of my thoughts by Mari's melodlic voice.

"Yes?"

"Do you want something to drink?" She asked me sweetly.

"Sure," I smiled in return, I let go of her hand so she could leave the couch.

Once she left the room, April and Melanie were staring at me with smirks on their faces.

"What?" I asked.

"Don't you 'what' us," April glared at me, "you are sooo in love with her!"

I rolled my eyes, "So?"

"Ask her out already genuis!" Melanie threw a cushion at me.

Since I wasn't expecting it it hit m e square in the face which made the girls burst into laughter. "What is going on in here?" I looked up to see Mari, her eyes wide with curiousity.

"Oh...nothing," the two girls replied.

"Aish?"

"Nothing, those two are just being idiots," I poked my tongue out at them.

"Hey Mari, can I talk to you?" Melanie asked her.

I quickly read her thoughts, 'I will knock some sense into this girl seriously, she needs to know he likes her.' Hearing those words I glared at Mel, who had left the room with Mari on her heels. 'I will murder her,' I thought, shaking my head,
