Mari's POV
A couple hours later, the girls left, with stupid excuses like we've got homework to do and other stuff, I didn't believe them but let them go. It was just Aish and I, playing on the ps2 while slouching in bean bags. In my opinion I was so winning Tekken, even though Aish was beating the living crap out of my character.
"Well, look at that I beat you again," Aish smiled at me.
I glared at him, "you're so mean." I walked up to the T.V. and turned it off, I could feel him looking at me, I blushed.
“I should get home,” Aish said to me and I walked him to the front door.
“Goodnight Aish,” I told him and kissed his cheek, I swear I saw him blush but he kissed my forehead before I could tell.
“Goodnight, Mari-Anna.”
Aish left, I closed the door, and smiled, running upstairs and grabbed my phone. I had added Melanie, April and Aish to my phonebook earlier, I pressed the call button to call Melanie.
“Hello?” Mel sounded tired as if she had just woken up.
“Hey, it’s Mari,” I replied, happily.
“Oh, hey, what’s up?”
“Not much, Aish just left…and he kissed my forehead.”
“Awww!! I think he likes you,” I could tell she was wiggling her eyebrows as she said that and I laughed at the thought.
“Ahaha, maybe, well, I guess I should do some homework and shit, night.”
“Night see you tomorrow,” I hung up and got into my trackies and a singlet.
I was tempted to text Aish, but I set my phone down on my bedside table. I wasn’t hungry, so I stayed in my room the rest of the night day dreaming and finally dozed off.
Aish’s POV
I was lying awake in my room, comfortable on my queen sized bed, just thinking about Mari. I know it sounds lame, but honestly, I couldn’t find anything better to do then imagine her amazing smile, and how I wanted to be the reason for that smile.
“Aish, honey?” I heard mum knock on my door and told her to come in.
“Hey, mum,” I said as she walked in with a plate of food.
“You hungry?” she asked me with a smile, I returned the smile and nodded. I ate at Mari’s but I’m a guy, I eat a lot.
“Have fun at Mari-Anna’s?” my mother asked me, I nodded filling my mouth with the food she brought in.
“Heard from Finn?” I looked at her puzzled.
‘How does she know Finn was here?’ I thought and she laughed.
“I can still hear you,” I grinned; I almost forgot she was like me. She never acted like it.
“Yeah, I have, nagging me as usual,” I chuckled and thought about earlier when he talked to me. “Mum, I need to get Mari away from William, He has her brainwashed, or someone does,” I sighed, hating that I had no chance against him.
“I can try and talk to her, I am student receptionist you know,” she winked at me. Yeah that’s right, my mum is Rachel. The friendly receptionist, who works in student reception, dealing with kids all the time, she loved kids.
“Thanks mum,” I smiled at her and she returned I, “I think, I’m gonna go to sleep now,” I looked at the time, it was around eleven at night.
“Okay, goodnight Aish,” she kissed me on the forehead, picked up the plate and left. I lied there for a while and eventually fell asleep, while think of the most beautiful girl, Mari-Anna Swan.
