POKÉMON CENTER (JUBILIFE CITY)
"Nurse Joy, would you mind to heal my Pokemon again?" I asked Nurse Joy.
"Of course. That's what I always do." She replied.
"Thanks!"
I gave her all of my Pokéballs. I also gave my trainer card to update it with a picture. Then I went to the PC area and used one of the PCs. These PCs are free for everyone to use. You can call anyone here via video call or just simple voice calls calls. But its best feature is the storage box where you can deposit, withdraw and organize your Pokémon. I dialled Mom's home number on the PC that I rent. After three rings, she picked up. We are now talking to each other through video call.
"Hi there Dawn! Good to see you even not in personal." Mom greeted me.
"Hi Mom! Good to see you too." I said.
"How's your journey so far? And which Pokémon you chose from Prof. Rowan?" She asked me.
"Well, a lot of things happened to me. Including obtaining my very first Pokémon which is Piplup the Water type Pokémon. I've caught other Pokémons in the wild, chased by swarm of Beedrills, challenged Barry on a Pokémon battle, and now here I am at Jubilife City." I explained.
"I know that it's just been a few days since you left but I already miss you honey."
"Yeah. I miss you too Mom. Especially your cooking."
"But I'm glad now that I don't need to portion my favorite dessert since they're all mine. Hahaha."
"Aww... Cut it out Mom!"
"Just kidding sweetie. So what makes you decide to call me?"
"Just checking you up Mom. How are you and Glameow?"
"Is that the only reason why you called? I can feel that you want to say something from me. Mother's instinct are usually correct."
"-sigh- Y'know Mom, Recently I became to have an interest on challenging Pokémon Gyms and collect badges."
"Gym battles huh? I heard Barry was challenging Gyms am I right? That's what her mother told me. He wants to surpass his father which is the Tower Tycoon of the Battle Frontier so he needs to get strong through challenging Gym Leaders. Collecting badges from different Gyms sure is hard. "
"Yeah I know that Mom but isn't that challenging? I know I could learn more new things when I take the challenge Mom. Cynthia recognized my skills as a Pokémon trainer who is strong enough to take Gyms and be qualified for Pokémon League. By the way, I was able to challenge Cynthia, the Champion and the Queen of Sinnoh earlier today."
"WHAT?! You've challenge Cynthia into a Pokémon battle? And it just happened earlier? How did it happen? Where?"
"Take it easy Mom. We've battled outside of Jubilife TV station. She was a guest on a talkshow that's why she is in Jubilife. Her fans was already waiting for her outside so I joined them since I am a fan of her too."
