Christmas was everything in Baltimore. The girls and I enjoyed ourselves and now we are on the road heading to New York City to meet the guys and enjoy new years in NYC. Toya crazy ass driving, I am in the passenger seat and Faun in the back. We rented a rental car because we will be flying back to Georgia with the guys.
"I hit up KC and told her when we left and what time we should be in the city" I said to the girls. "Well I am letting y'all know now, I won't be spending as much time with y'all. Toya said" "why?" I said " Come on Eb you know me and her don't really like each other. We only tolerate each other because of you".
Toya was right her and KC never really liked each other when I first introduce them. They both so outspoken and are alike so much that they don't like each other. KC would speak her mind if she didn't like something and Toya would speak her mind also. I try to be mutual with the both of them but sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. "Well all I am  saying is I am coming to NYC to have fun with my man, I don't care to spend time with KC. Now if we all meeting up and she so happen to be there than I will speak and act mature but anything else I will not do. I am not fake nor phoney and will not be acting all nice and shit to her period." Toya said. "T I am not making you do anything love. I m just letting you know so if we all do dinner and she show up it won't be a surprise to you."
"Cool" was all Toya said while doing 80 on turnpike. I just sat back put my earphones in and thought about everything especially the Toya and KC beef.

Flashback...

I meet KC the first day I went to Fort Meade to be with my father and his family. I was so mad and upset because my mother, and grandparents made me come here with them and it was 2 weeks before school so I was missing out on a lot in Baltimore city right now.

I finally came out my room and went to sit on the front steps by myself. An hour after sitting out there someone from next door open the door. It was a Lightskin tall girl. I didn't say nothing I was just sitting there. "My name KC what's yours? She asked"
"Ebony I said". "You must be the other sister?" "I guess you can say that but look I don't feel like talking." "Cool KC said" she pulled out her chair and sat it up and didn't say anything else.

It was crazy because its like everyday for the first week I would sit outside on the front for hours and KC would be sitting on her front doing the same.  My step mom and Dad pulled me in the house and said "Nicole its not nice to be rude. Only thing KC wants to do is be your friend. She too old to hang out with Shay and Shawn( which was my younger step sisters) so that's why she trying to be your friend." "Well I don't want no new friends and I don't want no friends around here." My dad and step mom looked at me before speaking and saying " you might as well make friends because you will be here every weekend and for holiday breaks. We already discussed it with your mom so its no way around it. We not saying you have to be friends but we would want you to have something or someone to hang with and do stuff with. My dad said." I went to sit back outside, I thought of what they said and was just like fuck it. Its nothing wrong with meeting and talking to new people.

I apologize to KC and we talked and got to know each other for the rest of my time there. We became real good friends and I even looked forward to going to my dad's just to hang out with my new friend. We had so much freedom on base that we attended every preteen party on base and her mom let us hold her car so we was good. We kicked it like that for about 2 years and then her step dad had took a segrant job in New York. That meant they had to move and it was so sad. We agreed to keep in touch and visit. One summer my mom and dad agreed to let me go to NYC for 2 week and than KC came down to Baltimore with me for 2 weeks. When I introduce KC to all my Baltimore friends they all like her except for Toya I don't know why but Toya didn't like her at all. I just told them "look all y'all play a major part in my life and y'all don't have to be friends but be respectful around each other." They did that and no drama never occurred. KC continue to come down and spend time with my family and I would go and spend time with her family in NYC. When the marching band i was in would have a parade in NYC, KC , mom, n Mr. T would show up and support me and my team. Toya was also apart of the group so even though KC really wasn't too fond of Toya she still supported her also. KC has a big heart and that's why we became so close. I just thought Toya was jealous and really didn't like to share me.  She never really explained to me why she don't like KC.
