The skies were a dark grey, promising rain so early in the cold Korean winter, the humidity in the air turning Namjoon's hair frizzy, dusted with little white rain droplets, only adding to the more magical appearance to his dark purple hair.
He had his bag clutched to his side, eyes closed as he waited for his friend, Taehyung, to pick him up along with that handsome friend of his. Jimin, was it? Namjoon didn't remember.
Needless to say, he was quite surprised to see someone turn the corner of the quietly empty street. This neighborhood wasn't the best, but Namjoon enjoyed the peace that it brought.
So when the stumbling person, face covered by his hood and his hands, let out an ear-splitting shriek and fell, shaking violently, Namjoon felt a spark of fear flutter in his stomach as he watched the hood fall back, revealing that handsome face of Taehyung's friend.
But his eyes were blazing red, and immediately, Seokjin's words rang around his head.
Vampires are feral. They don't know what their doing when their hungry, they attack and eat. If you have blood running in your veins and you meet one, expect to feel their fangs against your skin. Run—I know they're fast, but ignore the legends, ignore the myths. They're far different in real life.
Namjoon gasped out, frightened as the vampire stood, mouth open to reveal long fangs. Whimpering, Namjoon stumbled and attempted to run, but he was suddenly thrown harshly to the side, his entire body crumpling against the hard brick wall. Ears ringing, his breath hitched as he saw Jimin thrust his face into his, his breathing heavy.
"P-please don't hurt m-me." Namjoon squeaked, tears finding their way down his cheeks, surprising both Jimin and himself. "I-I was just—"
"Jimin, are you crazy?!"
Namjoon relaxed at the familiar sound of Taehyung's black BMW, spotting the car pull up to the side of the little bench that Namjoon was hanging out by. But as Taehyung stepped out of the car, Namjoon's stomach dropped as he realized Taehyung also had red eyes.
Great. How many more of my friends are vampires? Surely Seokjin isn't?
"Let go of him," Taehyung snarled. "We'll feed later, but this one isn't yours to eat."
Jimin's grip tightened on Namjoon's waist and shoulder, and he saw black dots clouding his vision. Pain was starting to blossom around his body as the adrenaline died, and he breathed out a little whimper as he stumbled forward, his vision turning black.

"You're awake."
Namjoon flinched. He had hoped the black haired male wouldn't notice. He didn't respond, keeping his eyes closed and his body still.
"Stop pretending. I know you're awake, your breathing changed."
Chills ran down Namjoon's spine as he fluttered his eyes open. He felt like prey—what else would you think when someone nearly killed you for your blood?
As Namjoon shifted over, he cringed and looked at the floor as he spotted Jimin, his black hair tousled and fluffy, wearing a loose black tee with a pair of dark-blue ripped jeans. His ears adorned several silver earrings, fingers laced with rings. A tattoo ran from his neck below his shirt, giving him a rather sexy appearance.
Namjoon shook those thoughts out of his head.
There was a tense silence.
