Taehyung stared at Seokjin as the older male, wrapped up in Taehyung's puffy jacket as the male forgot to bring his own jacket, staring at the pretty carnival lights, reflecting his own awe-struck eyes and Taehyung smiled softly before prodding his side.

Seokjin turned to stare back at Taehyung and his plush lips tugged up into a childish smile and Taehyung wrapped an arm around him as Seokjin leaned on his shoulder. "Whatcha thinking about, dear?" He asked softly.

Seokjin's eyes sparkled as he returned his gaze to the millions of fairy lights posted above the crowds of happy children and families, the cool air mixed with the undeniable smell of smoke and Taehyung's warmth beside him. "Just...the old days." Seokjin responded quietly.

Taehyung hummed. "The old days, huh? I have a lot to think about then."

Seokjin frowned. "What does that mean?"

Taehyung chuckled. "I've lived for a couple of centuries. I've seen a lot of things, and, yet...you're the most beautiful being I've ever seen. And I'm glad I captured you in my embrace, I can keep you under my wings forever and you will live with me for many more centuries until I inevitably die. Vampires grow old, too, just much slower. Much, much slower."

"Then won't I die earlier?" Seokjin mumbled.

"No, you signed the oath." Taehyung nuzzled the top of Seokjin's head. "Our love is eternal, therefore so is our lives."

Seokjin's lips shaped into a pretty O, and he looked up with a shy smile before looking down at the picnic basket and prodding it with a leg. "Can I start eating now? I'm hungry." Seokjin admitted.

"Mm, alright. But you know after you eat I'm gonna have to drink your delicious blood afterwards," Taehyung said, booping his nose and causing Seokjin to burst out giggling before opening the basket. Taehyung watched slowly, and when Seokjin lifted out the little velvety red box, Taehyung's eyes glowed red and Seokjin stared at it, puzzled.

"T-Tae...What is this?" Seokjin breathed, studying the box before popping it open and dropping it in shock, gasping. But Taehyung was quick and he caught it, smirking before shifting to get on his knees. Seokjin flushed and hid his face behind his hands, whining. "No...-Tae..."

"Seokjin?" Taehyung said warmly, smiling, "Seokjin look at me, baby."

Seokjin peeked through his fingers with watery eyes and removed his hands, sniffing loudly as Taehyung bowed his head slightly and smiled widely up at Seokjin. "I really wanna marry you, love. You're just...my everything. And I want to continue to live forever with our wonderful children."

"Tae..." Seokjin said with a sob.

"So," Taehyung lifted Seokjin up onto his lap and pressed his lips above Seokjin's ear, "will you marry me, my dear?"

Seokjin sobbed loudly before spinning around and hugging Taehyung tightly.

"Yes. Yes, yes I'll marry you!"
