"So, the rumor is true." Did I hear that right? What was that supposed to mean?

I glanced at my uncle, who was now walking beside me, "Did you-"

I was quickly cut off by my Uncle Kol, who apparently, knew what I was going to ask, "Yes, I heard him."

I then wondered to myself if he knew what Stefan had meant. He looked emotionless, so I couldn't tell anything from him and I knew better to not ask him. I would have to ask Father. I was pulled out of my thoughts when my Uncle Kol broke the silence.

"Well," Uncle Kol started and then looked at me with a smug look on his face, "I guess I'll have to keep the baseball bats in handy."

I smiled slightly and shook my head, remembering when Uncle Kol had told me of the last time he was with Damon, and walked back to the house in silence.

When we finally got there, the party was still going on. Uncle Kol brushed past me as he made his way through the crowd, leaving me by myself. I instantly searched the crowd for my father and found him with my mother and Uncle Kol talking on the grand staircase of our house. My parents looked worried and in shock as Kol was talking to them. Damn. Uncle Kol beat me first. If only I had vampire speed. Oh wait, I have that option in a few months.

I sighed and made my way towards the staircase. While I was lost in my thoughts, I accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh..I-I'm sorry -" I started as the person I bumped into turned around revealing the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She had long, dark brown hair, breathtaking brown eyes, and plush, rosy lips that were very desirable. She looked around my age. How come I've never seen this girl before?

"Yeah. Whatever," the girl said rolling her eyes as she walked away.

What was her problem? Most girls didn't talk to me like that; this girl was different. I watched her as she walked away towards Marcel. What did Marcel have to do with her? I shrugged it off and made my way back to my parents and my uncle.

As soon as I stood next to Uncle Kol, my mother quickly came over and hugged me, "Are you ok? Are you hurt?"

I pulled away from my mother's embrace and replied, "I'm fine Mom. Although, they might not be," I smirked slightly thinking about how I used my abilities on them.

My father then spoke to me in a firm manner, "Konner, I want you to keep your distance from Damon and Stefan."

I nodded my head, "Alright, father." Then I decided that now was the time to ask. "What did Stefan mean by 'the rumor'?" I asked my father.

Instead of my father answering, my mother did, "Somehow, a rumor is spreading to all supernatural people that a Original has a son that was born with warlock abilities. Damon and Stefan heard about you, so I guess they came to find about you themselves."

I was speechless; I didn't know what to say. Finally, after thinking some, I hesitantly asked, "Should I be worried?"

My father spoke up this time, "We aren't certain yet, but don't take any chances with them." I nodded my head once more and headed off to find Uncle Klaus.

As I searched for him, Gabe, Zach, and Rob left the party with their girlfriends. They had invited me to come along, but I declined their offer. I wasn't in the mood to hang out with them tonight. After a good few minutes of searching, I found him talking to a blonde woman, who I could tell, really 'fancied' him as my family calls it. "Ah, Konner," Uncle Klaus smiles as he notices me. Before I could say anything, the woman turned around, making me smile instantly. "Konner! You've grown so much!" she says as she pulls me into a hug. As we pull apart, I laugh, "It's been a while since I've seen you Caroline."
